Monschau - Germany (drone video)

Monschau is a town in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, located at an altitude of about 420 meters in the Aachen City Region. It is located on the edge of the Eifel at the upper reaches of the Rur. The city has 11,686 inhabitants on an area of ​​94.62 km². The towns of Simmerath, Schleiden, Hellenthal, Roetgen and Eupen in Belgium are a short distance away.

Very nice video! Monschau is a beautiful little village. My wife is from the Bitburg area. We've been here several times. Thanks for the memories!

My wife's family came to Germany to visit us in 1986. We visited the town of Bodenbach which was the home of the ancestors for my wife's father. We then went to Monschau for a visit. We enjoyed the town and scenery but the weather turned bad so we did not get up to the castle. It was an interesting visit. Thanks again Dennis Rutten for a fantastic video.
