Thanks a lot Egils. It's helping a lot to refresh my memory and recover the dancing after 50 years.

It's all about the footwork! My wife and I need to learn footwork besides the basic straight 4&123. My wife likes turns because she gets bored with just the basic straight 4&123 footwork. You have shown how to do various 4&123 footwork that looks just as great as spins and turns. Now all I have to do is convince the wife. Where should I start? Thank you for all you do and for inspiring this old man.

I guess that the ISTD will put this Overturned lock into their gold syllabus repertory of figures in International Cha-Cha. So in the Overturned Continuous Lock, turn the lady just before the "3" (and after the "2"). She will assume that she will do the lock on the "2 and", but to lead her to do the continuous locks, do a pushing pressure on the lady's L arm 3 times in quick succession to signal her to do the locks continuously on "3 and 4 and 1". Do the push leads on "3", "4", and "1". The Continuous Lock will get the lady into Right Open Shadow Position......

Egils my wife and I just discovered your channel and all your videos. We are new to ballroom dances they are lovely and you teach very well. We have a question on the numbers you refer to like 4 and 1 and 3 and 1..... We don't make the link....could you tell us more or maybe you have a video that explains them. Thank you ! 👍🏻👍🏻
