    The whole video's around 45 minutes long...there's a LOT of lead up exercises before we get to this part of the tape..

      Indeed the girl is the famous sabre champion Gioia Marzocca, the coach is Prof. Elio Malena but honestly I don't recognize who the boy is, sorry mate. I guess he's not an international fencer like Gioia. By the way, keep in mind that this is a 20 year-old video (1996, if I'm not wrong) and today Gioia is not even an athlete anymore but just a beautiful woman and a Carabiniere (our military police).

    I wonder when someone is ready for this? and HOW does someone get ready for this? I mean the previous training for it. I wish I could do something like that.

      I could do these excersises in quite a confidence but with not much of endurance or extreme speed, after almost a year of training in fencing. These are top level excersises, the training videotape is 45 minutes long, starting from early level, beginners training and warming excersises, until it reaches the top level, most demanding ones. If you train at least three times a week (I trained three times a week for two hours each and sometimes I trained five times a week for two hours each) you can reach this level of balance and muscle strength quickly.

    This can be special ordere through Absolute Fencing. It's a DVD and I think Negrini is the only one who distributes it.

      CH7 yes. It helps with explosiveness and speed of the lunge.

    Everyone in the comments talking about knees? It's Cossacks, bunny hops and lunges mostly.
    It's only a problem if you've already let your knee strength degrade.
