What line rating was the rod you were using? What line classes would you recommend for the madscad 115?

Nomad Offshore spin PE5-8. Line classes really depends on where you're fishing and what species. In this scenario its shallow water with species that want to bury you in the reef so a heavy line class is needed. 80LB Panderra in this case. If you're fishing open water for less dirty fighters like tuna then a lighter line class would be fine. The Madscad 115 can handle a wide range of line classes.
