Isn’t the 505 a closer pattern? I assume its weak spot (the 505) would be mud and wet clay. What have you guys experienced in those conditions with 505?
Is this on your 300? How does it compare to the sedona 907? My current 907 is get long in the tooth. If this performs better than the 907, i'm all over it.
Thanks for sharing that review. I'm definitely a tire guy. I've tried everything from Motoz to Goldentyre. I've been strictly Goldentyre for the last year or so and they are absolutely amazing, especially the GT216 front tire. I have ran the GT216AA on the rear and I actually got alot of miles out of it. However, I also commute on my 2015 TE250, so I'm always on the lookout four a rear that hooks up and lasts, the Goldentyre is pretty spendy for commuting. I'm going to be mounting a Goldentyre GT523E that is a little bit harder compound than the 216. I'll let you know how it does. I think I'll try that Kenda next. It sounds pretty sweet.
Nice. Looking like my next tire. Any chance of reviewing the IRC M5B in a 130 width? Guys here in the east swear by them for all conditions. However i'm doubtful of the performance in dry slick conditions.
Jeff Slavens Tried the Ibex. Worked awesome in most conditions. Surprised how well it worked in the mud being a hybrid tire. Tire is wearing well also. How does this tire compare to the Motoz arena gummy?
Jeff, I just switched over to tubliss and am currently running Kenda Parker DT's. you mentioned you run 5 psi. What are the upper reaches speed wise you run at that pressure maintaining handling stability and does the tubliss handle a higher speed hit ok and provide any rim protection? Thanks
@@slaverace1 only reason i say that i just mounted one and was looken at and im thinking, man that tire looks like it would bite better the other way, turns out there is thelittlest tiny arrow on them for direction, never knew and ive ran them tires for 2yrs now🤦♂️🤦♂️
@@Bananahammock88 The Motoz Arena Hybrid was pretty good. But the Shinko 505 Cheater is my favorite. I get traction with it when other people I ride with slip around.
How does it compare to the Sedona MX907?
absolutely loved this tire shredded it in 10 hours but still hooked up better than most tires and it was bald!
Loving the Shinko 505 that you recommended, how would you say this one compares to that?
Similar

the equilibrium was terrible in the wet rocks. this tire performs well in the wet slick rocks?
It did for me.
thank you sir. was worried after trying the equilibrium
chris paling The Ibex does everything better than the Equilibrium

Yes, on the 300. Try it and post your conclusions.
I just mounted one on my 300. Excited to test it out. It's replacing the Equilibrium.

Jeff I'm on the east coast in Ohio. What do ya think about the AT 81's?
Not a fan.
Me either Jeff. Do u think they skate around and give u vague feeling?

Will not be testing that tire anytime soon. It has been around for a long time. Not a bad tire but over-priced and much better options available.

Nice to the point review as always. Thanks again Jeff . 👍

I don't use Parkers. TUbliss works well at all speeds and gives excellent rim protection.
I believe that tire may be on backwards
I ride backwards sometimes, ha!

Sweet, I think I'll give this a shot after I wear out my Motoz Arena Hybrid :)
How was the motoz? That’s my next tire for the desert here in Southern California.

I prefer the shinko as my favorite tire you should try out a dunlop d803gp
Nothing special about any Dunlop, especially the 803.
Jeff Slavens but its a trials tire its super soft and grips great and it lasts for over a year
Good tire ! Yz250x fun !!
How long did it last for you
