God of war 2018 was such a monumental moment in my life I had grown up playing the God of war games with my dad I'd watch him play and then I'd have my own save and get to play as well. As I got older and moved out and due to some personal issues in my life I was separated from my father for about 6 years and that's when 2018 happened and was such a euphoric experience playing this father son experience in a game that was my father son experience. Well, if it's possible for you why not reach out to your father? Much like Kratos and Atreus, it's never too late to reconnect with someone you love, sometimes you'll have to take the first step towards that, family is important.
For the bifrost bit during the baldur chase sequence, Ive always been under the impression that it takes everyone to hel because kratos locks it in prematurely midway through the temples initial spin towards the asgard gate. Because of this, the temple automatically picked the nearest realm tower in its spin cycle, which happened to be hel.
If you read the novelization it clarifies this, saying because it wasn’t locked in, the travel room malfunctioned which is why they were sucked into hel.
Honestly I enjoyed the qte of Kratos pushing his daughter away it's as if he's pushing with all his emotional strength rather than his physical strength as per usual
Agreed. I never got why people are bothered by it being a qte, it's basically exactly what they were made for. I do agree though the moment is ruined by it not really being a choice for Kratos but I see it more as Coliapi doesn't understand and he will never see her again.
Yeah kinda goes to show how cruel it is to him to force him into doing that by making you mash the button that you would usually mash to rip someone’s head off and then tear the body apart
There is a piece of dialogue that's very easy to miss GoW 2018 where Mimir theorizes that the battle between Thor and Jormmungandr fractured the world tree and sent him back in time. This would explain why he already hates Thor and also how he seemed to just appear out of thin air (which iirc is brought up by Freya when taking the elevator down from the mountain).
Well most likely see in Ragnarok because we see Ratatoskr (sorry I don't remember his name) and Kratos grabs him. Probably will get some answers from him.
I loved those dialogue lines, because I think Odin told Thor to fight jormmungandr, and I feel like the idea of Odin actively trying to stop ragnarok but because of fate ends up causing it through his actions
I think the "that wasn't me line" in Helheim from Atraeus was meant to show him seeing his actions from a different perspective showed him how he has changed after finding out he was a god and showing some regret or shame for his brutality when killing Modi not an actual memory loss/black out type thing (edit: spelling/grammer/stuff)
That is exactly what it meant. Like you said Atreus is in disbelief because he thinks he is a good god but here is a vision of him brutally killing someone. Kratos affirms that Atreus, on the whole, isn't truly a cruel person but he is allowing the fact of his godhood to change who he is. It was fairly clear to me on the first playthrough but I guess not for everyone which to a certain extent is understandable.
I did find it confusing so ty for this comment, gave me an authentic everything clicks into place "ohhhh ok" moment. I get a lot of those as a detective but I never get tired of em
34:18 the point of that scene is that all quick time events are meant to be kratos test of strength and either using all or a lot of it to over come a task. So him having to push his daughter away is actually really him using everything he has to leave her and the memories basically
@@freddiem6805 yeah you don’t have a choice it’s more dramatic flare and story telling. That’s how stories and games work The player doesn’t have a choice cause kratos already made the choice and ended up killing his daughter and now he’s in a world we’re she’s back but none of it is real. And it’s either he has to live in the past that’s not real and cope Or understand they are gone and no matter what you push forward for them and yourself
1:51:50 the world serpent spitting out your axe is actually a huge deal because he imbues your axe with his poison, the poison that kills Thor. Also a cool detail is that Faye had the axe created specifically to stand up to Mjolnir. Which was also created by Brok and Sindri and is why they don’t speak.
@@Sam-om3iu Wow, really? thanks for letting me know. Too bad everything else besides him and the leviathan axe is. Thor dies to the serpents venom in Norse mythology. Brokkr (shortened to Brok in game) and Sindri created Thor's hammer. Nothing the original comment said was a spoiler. It's taking actual real Norse mythology that's been around for thousands of years and using it to predict plot points in the next game based on information told to the player in God of War 2018. If you meant spoilers for God of War 2018, then I'd question why you're even watching this video in the first place.
If I recall correctly the reason Thor took 3 years to respond to his son's deaths was because time flows faster in the realms the higher it resides upon the World Tree; the flow of time in Asgard is faster than in Midgard, so news reaching Asgard from "lower" realms takes longer.
If you go back to Kratos's house in the forest after the main story ends a cut scene will play. Kratos and Atreus are awoken by a storm and when they go outside to look, a shadowy figure stands there silent. Kratos yells 'who are you?'", and the stranger reveals a hammer holstered at his hip that is electrified by his touch, the screen the turns black.
Hmm, that explains why Kratos was able to save Atreaus. When Atreaus got sick. Kratos traveled to Hel to retrieve the heart from the troll in Hel. What could've taken days, only took Kratos a few hours/days in Hel, since time in hel runs much slower compared to Mid-Gard's. If Kratos would've traveled to say, Asgard, it would've taken him years traveling between realms & Atreaus would've been toast...
Great video, but I think worrying about continuity as much isn’t necessary. Lots of mythology is a little scattered or unexplained and I feel like they like to use that to their strength with shifting story elements or direction
That's kinda my view on how the God of War story goes too. Mythology is very inconsistent with itself, all springing from different writers during different points in time, and the story of these games is no different. For me, it's just part of the charm, and I learn to just roll with it lol
Freya gave them a witch's compass which shows them where they need to go for their destination. That's probably why they went to the statue in the lake and followed its instructions.
On Demios: He's not being rational because he was kidnapped as a kid and stuck there for years. Trauma and grief at losing his family turning into rage against the older brother who should have protected him. It's good storytelling
I feel like one thing that's really important to consider is that Kratos already changes fate in a huge way when he kills Modi, because if I'm remembering right, Modi is supposed to survive the events of Ragnarok. As soon as he's killed, everything that was supposed to be predetermined is suddenly up in the air, so I can see why Odin and Thor might hesitate to go after Kratos after that, either out of fear that there's no guarantee they'll make it to Ragnarok anymore, or curiosity now that through whatever it was he ended up doing, it might be possible that they could actually make it THROUGH it.
Somebody made a video to show how strong Kratos is. He pointed out that when you grab a enemy and mash circle it was like Kratos using his full strength to finish a enemy. Having you mash to get away from his daughter is the game telling you that it’s literally taking all his strength to push his daughter away so he can keep going.
the amount of work you have put in these videos must be insane for our enjoyment for free. I didn't play any of these games unfortunately and I can't go back in time and play them I'm too busy but I lived it through your experience and great narration ... thank you Gingy
God of War has become part of the Gaming Osmosis. It's totally cool to watch a video like this about it and still come away satisfied. If anything, you might find something interesting about it that you can go, "huh, okay, I see it now."
The time travel issue you had only really makes sense if you choose that one specific theory of how time travel would work. Time travel is pretty much always paradoxical, not just a problem with gow
bro you just are thinking way too hard about some things. the Atreus in Hel scene is clearly just him being ashamed of how violent and reckless he's been and Kratos telling him he's still a good person but has been acting like an asshole recently.
Thank you Gingy for this masterpiece ❤️ fr man i appreciate all the work and details you put into your video so we can get the full understanding of what we’re trying to figure out in stories as amazing as this one!
1:52:23 This was a very weird nitpick as it's obvious why Kratos threw his axe. It wasn't for no reason at all, the writing on the rocks they found talked about getting rid of all weapons and you literally went over it. For all Kratos knew his axe would return to him like it always does so to see if something would come from following those instructions he threw his axe. He had no clue it wouldn't return for a moment. It wasn't random or on a whim. Going on a whole sidequest off the beating path of a mission and throwing your axe into the water for a few seconds are very different things lol.
Seriously one of my favorite video game UA-camrs. Your critiques are incredible and you PUMP these videos out (which is very uncommon for UA-cam video essayists lol)
Bro some of your line of questioning for GoW 2018 is so off. Starting with Kratos being stabbed. It was never said that he wasn't able to feel pain, that's solely Baldurs thing because he's cursed. So why would the fact that he was stabbed be talked about again when he has a healing factor? For the bridge scene, Kratos put the key in before the bridge was done aligning with the realm so it took him to the nearest one in the cycle and caused a malfunction. When Atreus is saying "that's not me" he doesn't mean that in a literal sense. He's saying that's not who he truly is and Kratos is reiterating that it's who he's become as of late. And for him throwing the axe into the water.... The sign literally tells him too. I'm fully convinced you didn't play the game lol.
While its a shame the gameplay kind of felt lacking, the story and writing were definitely a massive leap ahead. Really hope he gets a happier ending this time around.
One final touch that you didn’t mention (which is fine you’re not Nordic) is how detailed, intricate, and prevalent the use of real old Norse/Icelandic was utilized throughout the latest GoW I played through this game and my gf, who’s Icelandic, noticed so much that I wouldn’t have given a second thought to Many Icelandic friends of mine who played the game shared the same sentiment. They clearly did their homework and hired great consultants for these details.
Theres a 2 hour documentary on UA-cam about the development of the game. Many of devs actually did go to Iceland to take pictures for references and research on the culture. They also hired an Icelandic choir for the vocals for music.
2:13:58 The dragon was foreshadowed just before the first fight with Baldur (hence why the house was shaking and Baldur then appears outside) where the dragon was during the fight I have no idea
This channel was recommended to me last week while I was working a double shift. Those 11 hours flow by fast af I appreciate the hard work and dedication you put into each video bro.
My first time through GoW3 I took about 5 minutes on the Zeus beat down because I thought it'd just end when it needed too. I started getting worried once the screen filled with blood that my game had glitched. And when I finally got off my couch to reset the console it started the cutscene and I realized I was the reason it went on for so long
This was pretty good, but when you started talking about Ghost of Sparta, you missed something. During the altercation ending of God of War 3, Zeus and Gaia have a small banter moment where they talk about how Kratos has failed as a pawn for both sides and Zeus says something like; "Perhaps you should have chosen the other one.." referring to Deimos.
This video is awesome. I never got a chance to play the original games and to finally contextualize the stories prior to God of War 2018 was incredibly elucidating. All that I knew was that Kratos killed the Greek gods, minor and major dieties of that realm, and that he himself was a god. Being somewhat informed of Greek mythology helped as well but actually connecting what I knew to the games themselves was very enjoyable. A great video and a great retelling.
I think more then adding to the overall story, the goal of Ascension is to add more depth to Kratos as a charcter, I know it makes me appreciate and elevate what he becomes in the first 3 games by seeing how he is in Ascension.
Hey man you got someone posing as you in the comments saying I won a giveaway and started asking me for my information. I was excited at first but I was quick to realize it wasn't you. Just thought you should know. Great vid as usual
I loved GoW 2, more than 1. Interesting to see a different perspective. I remember beating it and immediately starting another play through to see all the details again with a different take on it all.
Magni and Modi were prophesied to survive ragnorok so thier Kratos winning them breaks the prophecy of Ragnorok or in other words the norse gods now longer know if any of Odins prophecy collections can be broken, changed, or have already been changed.
I know whole story and everything about it but listening these has been really entertaining and enjoyable honestly I love the content’s quality and how informative it is at the same time you are doing a fantastic job keep being you man.
In 2020 I went and played every game and platinumed them back to back and it was such a great experience. Especially when you get to 2018 and it all builds into his new character
Gow 2018 would never have had the same effect it did if not the first 3 games... They're actually a brilliant masterpiece... I literally feel like I grew up with kratos... From a hate & anger filled teenager... To a reasonable adult who sees everyone as human being... I didn't value life before.. But now, I do know.
Thank you I’ve been trying to find a video on the entire god of war story and I haven’t found a good one and then to my absolute joy one of my favorite UA-camr puts one out
Commenting as watching so maybe I have to add things later. The choice in Chains of Olympus is not "stay here and never see her again" or "leave and never see her again", it's "stay here as long as I (persefone) planned with your daughter" or "become again the monster who slayed her to keep her alive in the Elisyum" so it is a very strong question for Kratos, to stay with Caliope to the end, knowing she will die for good, or be what he hates most, himself, again, to keep her alive even if he won't ever see her. The thing about Morpheus is that he is not doing any of this on porpuse, that's an inherit power he has as the god of sleep/dreams, and Helios stops him just by showing up, is day and night literally. At night when the sun (Helios) is gone, people sleep and have dreams (Morpheus) that stop when the sun raises. I don't know why you question why does that happen. Fun fact about Ghost of Sparta: when Krato's mother dies, in the psp if you put the volume at max and hear very closely, you can more or less hear the name "zeus", or at least the z and s sounds, that give the clue. About the pact with Ares in Ascension: it makes sense if you think the only thing it removes from Kratos memories is that he killed his family, but he still knows they are dead, and he has this feeling that something's off and Ares had something to do with the death of his wife and daughter, and that's why he want to get rid of the oath. It's a bit of a strech, but it can be reasoned that way.
And him critiquing why Zeus throws Pandora onto the ledge instead of into the pit as if he doesn't know that Pandora dying helps Kratos, not Zeus. The ledge throw was purposeful as it gets Pandora out of the way so he can attempt to beat the tar out of Kratos
Thought you should know in the novelization of the game, they explain what happened with atreus and the elves while kratos was in the light and how he was able to kill the dark elves.
Gingy I just gotta say, there really isn't a paradox in God of War 2 when Kratos is killed by Zeus. 1. Zeus Stabs and kills Kratos 2. Kratos comes through the portal and knock Zeus back. 3. Kratos pulls The Blade of Olympus out of his own DEAD body. You should look at it again. ✌️
Ughhhhhh I looooove this. Whether I watch or I listen, this is stuff that is beyond my pay grade and we get to watch this technically for free. Thankyou so much. I appreciate this a LOT. You are the new Joseph Anderson.
I love this video, I only have one correction; Santa Monica said Ragnarok is gonna be the last game in the Norse saga, I hope it'll be able to shove everything they really want in there without making it a mess
The dragon you fall into when you fight Baldur (when Atreus attacks Kratos) is Baldur's dragon. When you first meet him, you can hear the dragon fly overhead before hey fight.
I think the way to view the line “No, but it is who you’ve become of late” is as Kratos saying this isn’t who you really are. That Atreuses goodness is being overshadowed by cruelty. And in Kratos’s like all parents want to believe their child is good
God of War 2018 is one of the best games I have played, I never could get into the gameplay of the older entries but this one hooked me. I think something that has to be done with many games is suspension of belief especially with the story and how it's laid out.
I find it so fascinating seeing these recent retrospectives on the original series from people who hadn't played them. It's such a mix of love and apathy. Some people see why they're so cherished and others think they're kind of hack and slash shlock and the only good ones are the reboot series. And I'm always happy when someone gets their value. I dislike this idea that the story and games are only good now. I prefer the original trilogy tbh.
Thanks for explaining the story. I want to get into the god of war series and started God of war 3 remastered. But playing it on a ps5 is hard. I got stuck at the harp section and tried getting through it for an entire hour. In the end of wasn't worth it for me, so seeked out someone who can take me through the whole Greek series before playing 2018 god of war. Well put together.
2:15:47 Cory Barlog actually admitted due to time and resources. They had to cut section involving Atreus which is why his characterisation is a bit inconsistent.
You're asking why kratos threw his axe into the river again and again while your video got the part where boi said" the rune says throw away your arms" in it
I have only ever played the first few minutes of the PSP entry, and as I listened to this review I kept thinking "I guess there's *some* interesting stuff but I just don't feel invested" and then you started talking about GoW 2018 and I very quickly got hooked on this and want to play the game. He's the god of war but also a dad struggling to connect with his son??? That's some good stuff there.
To make note of the Favors in 2018. While the spirits and Brok/Sindri are straight forward with their requests, much of the dialogue while doing them shows more to the relationship Kratos and Atreus have/build. Like the one Spirit who wants you to kill his men so they can rest. Kratos does the task so that Atreus can see that even tho that man lead him and his team to death, the people behind him followed him because he was a leader. Qualities he says Atreus should learn. Or Fafnir’s storeroom where he tells him to keep expectations low so he’ll never be disappointed.
I think one of the few times that QTEs were done correctly in a game was with Kingdom Hearts II with Reaction Commands. Reaction Commands require you to hit the correct button quickly and consecutively or be punished usually with damage or sometimes death, give you a visual spectacle that is both unique and satisfying, the rarely feel repetitive unless you are fighting the same enemy, used to enhance what can be done with the combat system, and give the developers a way to tell stories in the middle of a fight rather. In boss fights, especially with Organization XIII members, attempting to use Drive Forms has a VERY high chance of triggering Anti-Form, which is essentially Sora going berserk losing access to magic, Reaction Commands can not be used, and you can stun-lock enemies but take damage much more and give a lot less damage. These kind of moments hammer home how natural they make the QTEs as part of the combat as it something you would not be actively think about. So, triggering Anti-Form in most boss fights is a detriment or a possible death sentence on Critical Mode. Long story short: QTEs can be used to enhance a game but it is rarely done because something like the Reaction Command system is not simple to make. Usually, QTEs were/are used as a lazy way to make complicated senses, save on development time, and/or give a visual spectacle that requires little to no effort from the player other than just paying attention. The God of War games eventually make up for this by making the QTEs be for extremely brutal yet poetically satisfying moments where Kratos pulls a Doomslayer before DOOM 2016 was even a thing.
The thing I love about GOWIII was the soundtrack I love how rage of sparta just start when ever he’s about to commit a hate crime on the gods especially Poseidon like damn he had a grudge against a man who really didn’t do much to him.
How parents can harm their children while trying to protect them because they're afraid of losing them is, yes, very much a theme of this game. Also, I seem to recall the World Serpent fell down Yggdrasil while fighting Thor during Ragnarok, which sent him into the past. This would explain why kid Loki meets him during the game.
Man imagine if they made the next God of war taking place in the Hindu pantheon. It would be amazing to fight multi-armed avatars of the concepts of creation, preservation and destruction not to mention the reincarnation parts and the universal Brahman. You could kill the same god several times by fighting their different avatars and slow it's a lot more metaphysical and conceptual than the Greek and Nordic gods but they still have plenty of crazy stories. Edit: unfortunately it's probably not gonna happen since Hinduism is still actively practiced, but God damn the gods are so hard core. But Egyptian gods are probably the next way to go for multiple reasons
Subjective, I think nudity enhanced those said cutscenes by immersing me into the time period these games took place in. Sexuality played an major role in those early civilizations and helped shape the overall mythos in many ways.
there's a few things you didnt catch on and that make a few of your criticism unvalid but others are things i didn't notice and great that you pointed them out, still all in all god of war is a great franchise and i am glad you enjoyed your time with it let's hope more great games comes out of this studio
I like the qte where Kratos push away his daughter. That qte and the one in MGS 3 where you have to pull the trigger to finish the boss yourself are 2 qte that really force you in the shoes of your character emotionally.

Remember when you used to make for honor videos and I’m glad to see you branched out of that and evolved into something much more. Keep up the content man, your videos are literal ASMR. It says a lot about how far we are from gamer gate that you can speak for so long and pointedly abou tthe gratitous nudity in the game, I still remember when Adam Sessler from Rev3 commented for about 10 seconds in a 10 minute review that the "bros before hoes" achievement for ripping a lady in half to open a door was cringe and the review was like brigaded for that with huge downvote ratio
51:30 I could not disagree more. The point of that sceen is to showcase how much humanity he lost by this time. That is is esentaly a blood thirsty monster. And he only starts second guessinmg himself after he killed Hephaistos and escorting hes daughter to certain doom. Also he only cared for her for a second when he tought that she is Kaliope. When he realized that she isn't he was very stand off-ish to her.
I personally don't really understand the controversy of the women dying by getting crushed by the wheel. Like you're literally ripping out cyclops eyes out of their head and the entrails out of centaurs, but still people were like "oh no! That poor one women!" not to dismiss anyone's or Gingy's opinion. I just don't get it why that was focused on. Also the nudity never really bothered me at all. I've watched a lot of horror and gore flicks. I'm not a 5 year old. I'm mature enough to see to nip from time to time and keep me cool. If I made a God of war review I probably wouldn't even had but one sentence in my whole video simply acknowledging the fact that nudity is present in the video game.
Same here. I love Gingy's videos but this one, I don't like it much. One of them is because of how many times he complained about the nudity again and again. It's quite annoying to me. I get that he doesn't like it but we get it when he said it once.

The player doesn’t have a choice cause kratos already made the choice and ended up killing his daughter and now he’s in a world we’re she’s back but none of it is real. And it’s either he has to live in the past that’s not real and cope
Or understand they are gone and no matter what you push forward for them and yourself
Thanks for the spoiler👌🏽
@@Sam-om3iu The game is 4 years old bro, Norse mythology is way older too lol
@@Sam-om3iu Ay bro, the lore is thousands of years old.
@@JakenTheGreat dude kratos isn’t in Norse mythology 😂
Isn’t it because he’s supposed to fight Kratos at the beginning of Ragnarök? Fimbulwinter is 3 years long.
Cant be. Modi came back critically wounded shortly after so Thor knew about Kratos killing Magni way before.
Doesn’t make sense to me personally since he beats up modi for Magni’s death immediately.
Gingy you’re a machine brother, you just keep cranking out 10 outta 10 bangers and I love you for that.
Aptly said. Amazing channel honestly
Idk why i read that in mimir's voice lmao
He just never misses
Kratos talks about this in Ragnarok it's badass
A Devil may cry or dishonored story retrospective would be amazing considering how you focus on story and lore and how gameplay works with said story
Ascension easily the most underrated entry had the cleanest combat and a badass story
That "2d fighting" part with Zeus is literally a stage in Mortal Kombat 9
Somebody made a video to show how strong Kratos is. He pointed out that when you grab a enemy and mash circle it was like Kratos using his full strength to finish a enemy. Having you mash to get away from his daughter is the game telling you that it’s literally taking all his strength to push his daughter away so he can keep going.
Ooooooo a Gingy vid up to 2 hours and 30 minutes??? Yes please!

Kratos has developed into such a different character from the first GOW games and I can't wait for how he is in GoW5.
While its a shame the gameplay kind of felt lacking, the story and writing were definitely a massive leap ahead. Really hope he gets a happier ending this time around.

One final touch that you didn’t mention (which is fine you’re not Nordic) is how detailed, intricate, and prevalent the use of real old Norse/Icelandic was utilized throughout the latest GoW
I played through this game and my gf, who’s Icelandic, noticed so much that I wouldn’t have given a second thought to
Many Icelandic friends of mine who played the game shared the same sentiment. They clearly did their homework and hired great consultants for these details.
Theres a 2 hour documentary on UA-cam about the development of the game. Many of devs actually did go to Iceland to take pictures for references and research on the culture. They also hired an Icelandic choir for the vocals for music.
How can you have more than one Icelandic friend? There are only like five of them in existence.
Also, isn't Fimbulwinter considered to have happened around 500 AD? The fall of Sparta was nearly 500 BC. something to think about.

This channel was recommended to me last week while I was working a double shift. Those 11 hours flow by fast af I appreciate the hard work and dedication you put into each video bro.
That’s nice that you’re doing a god of war retrospective and keep up the good work
The graphic jump from ascension to 2018 is insane
As a Norwegian, I climbed the highest peak in Jotunheimen "Galdhøpiggen" with my father as a kid. They offer waffles and coffee at the peak.
These games were a big part of my childhood. Might not be the most optimal game for a child but it hooked me right away and I didn't let go since.
My first time through GoW3 I took about 5 minutes on the Zeus beat down because I thought it'd just end when it needed too. I started getting worried once the screen filled with blood that my game had glitched. And when I finally got off my couch to reset the console it started the cutscene and I realized I was the reason it went on for so long
One of my favorite series of all time what a treat.
Just found your channel and loving the breakdowns and storytelling. May your legend live on!
This has yo be the greatest retrospective of a series I've ever heard
I loved GoW 2, more than 1. Interesting to see a different perspective. I remember beating it and immediately starting another play through to see all the details again with a different take on it all.
Same here. I've gone through 1 like twice but the second one more than 10 that's for sure. Absolutely loved them when I was younger
I replayed it on the hardest difficulty without upgrades (did the same with coo or gos can't remember which)
Magni and Modi were prophesied to survive ragnorok so thier Kratos winning them breaks the prophecy of Ragnorok or in other words the norse gods now longer know if any of Odins prophecy collections can be broken, changed, or have already been changed.
Thank you I’ve been trying to find a video on the entire god of war story and I haven’t found a good one and then to my absolute joy one of my favorite UA-camr puts one out
These videos never fail to impress me the amount of detail of analysis is insane, good work gingy
New Gingy video. Time to put on the airpods and clean for 2hours 35min. Thanks bruh
Gingy seems like a calm and reasonable person
Gingy I just gotta say, there really isn't a paradox in God of War 2 when Kratos is killed by Zeus.
1. Zeus Stabs and kills Kratos
2. Kratos comes through the portal and knock Zeus back.
3. Kratos pulls The Blade of Olympus out of his own DEAD body.
You should look at it again. ✌️

The dragon you fall into when you fight Baldur (when Atreus attacks Kratos) is Baldur's dragon. When you first meet him, you can hear the dragon fly overhead before hey fight.
I watched from beginning to end, you're an absolute beast for making such an incredible and detailed video.

Why's he so butthurt at kratos throwing the axe in the lake bruh, funniest shit in the whole video
Wonderful thank you for all of your work 💯
To make note of the Favors in 2018.
Sexuality played an major role in those early civilizations and helped shape the overall mythos in many ways.
no game series could keep the plot tied together for so many games and keep them so good

I like the qte where Kratos push away his daughter. That qte and the one in MGS 3 where you have to pull the trigger to finish the boss yourself are 2 qte that really force you in the shoes of your character emotionally.
It’s a small bit to mention but it’s also pertinent to note that Loki was the one to kill Balder in Norse myth as well.
Implicitly yes, but not physically. Hödr does the killing.

It's very odd how much you love the blood and gore but call any nudity disgusting. Screams of US sensibilities
I feel so confused since I watched this entire thing without a break
