I see what they were going for, I see this archetype in anime all the time. In the original English Airachnid would be described by many people as being very sadistic and in truth that's actually the same here. The main difference comes down to culture. Many female characters in Japan who bear this quality come across as sadists in a more depraved manner, like their getting off on a person's suffering. As opposed to the English version where she's is definitely enjoying herself by torturing her enemies, but in the original she's still all business; a character trying to achieve her objective. It's just more like she's "enjoying her work." If that makes sense at all.
Tbf she's more "Yandere" acting for Jack in terms of her movements, easy enough to dub over like in this video. Arcee's and her animation to each other are always hostile and exudes more.... Dominatrix vibes

I'm Japanese, but I seriously don't like this at all. Yoshikazu Iwanami. This guy's the main villan for dubbing Transformers like this. Just because Transformers is a show for kids doesn't mean he can just turn into something like a terrible gag anime with no respect for the original. There are a times where he didn't do the dubbing(Animated, RiD[2015] etc.) and he did the job correctly one time (Beast Awakening), but I really want him to stop dubbing or else the streak of ruining the series will continue...
