Enjoyed seeing how clean Canal Street Station was and the shiny cars without the graffitti I remember from my visits in the 1980's. Great job, Rudy !! And I enjoyed this entire video, thanks for sharing !
I operated all the trains in the museum except the gate cars. The worst braking were the oldest, Q cars. THE ABSOLUTE BEST BRAKING & HANDLING WERE THE R32 CARS. If a person had a cup of coffee filled to the brim, I could brake the R32 & you would not spill a drop. I was a motorman 1968 to 1979, then I was promoted to motorman instructor in1979.
2:23 THATS EXACTLY WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT! THE R68 D TRAINS BE GOIN WAAAAAAAAAY TO FAST! LIKE OH GOD ESPECIALLY WHEN ITS PASSING 81 St Museum of Natural History IT LITERALLY GOES SO FAST THE TRAIN IS ROCKING SIDE TO SIDE
42nd PABT going southbound is fun, especially on the express (A3 track), approach at way over 40. An R46 on the C, local I will enter the station at around 38 if I don't have an Echo in front of me, and the station is clear.
The Transportaion rides on these Stations: City Bus 🚎 rides on the Bus Stop 🚏. Subway Train rides on the Subway Station 🚉. The Airplane 🛬 Rides on the Airport 🛂.

Looks good! In comparison to my city's Metro (Mexico City) the trains look wider and overall better maintained. Also the NYC system covers more area than my city's. One big disadvantage though from this Subway vs Mexico's is the noise and the vibrations that the trains generate. In Mexico the trains are mostly running on rubber tires, which makes them much much quieter and produce way less vibration (I guess this was decided based on the fact that CDMX has earthquakes). Great video!
The 4 train is the new homless shelter every morning at the Woodlan station 3 to 4 homless in EACH WAGON. Fares are expensive yet service UNFORTUNATLY POOR!
The green "O" you see is LED lights indicating that it is local in The Bronx. If you had seen a red diamond instead it indicates its express in The Bronx. These R62s cars were modified years ago by Corona Yard to add this light system as you have express and local 7 trains. A quick change system was needed to alert riders if the train was local or express without the tedious old method of changing the scroll signs. The light signs can be changed trainline with a toggle switch in any operating position.
Since i saw that caillou episode where his dad was gonna be late for work next time he just leave the car and take the subway train to get to work it,s much faster
The fact that this guy risks his life by standing so close to the platform edge and the moving trains is just mad respect.
He's literally not even standing on the platform edge.
But he could be pushed off my someone

@@jasenplayz8328 motorman not motarman
I never stop thinking how I turned down being a Motor Man B devision for B/O back in 1988
You’re a Big W (winner)
Motorman is a subway train driver
I used to watch these videos when i was little but i still do
It had to be before Covid because the date on the post Subway was like a ghost town.
And then Covid changed EVERYTHING, NYC is so different now, stay safe on the platforms everyone... 😔💙
I Like Subway Trains Amazing Job
I miss riding the subway train 😢😢😢😢🥺🥺 this virus needs to end already I wanna ride the subway train again
The Subway Trains go ride Underground.
Ahhh so nostalgic when a train comes back in New York City
To bad I don’t live their anymore
Sad
I always try to avoid the A as much as possible and the 3 train idk why I just hate them both
Take the A train ! 😍
Wow so very fun is train name subways
Finally got to ride the R179 A a few weeks ago. Enjoyable ride. Too bad the operators can’t enjoy it :/
That train is a danger to society although there working on it I hope you stay safe
None of my fellow operators like them. The MC is poorly designed and gives your right hand cramps after only about 20 minutes.
