      Thanks a ton! I really create these just shooting from the hip as I quickly try to keep cleaning of course to be efficient with that and then also try and see if I can get some shots with what I'm limited to of course in tight quarters sometimes. These things come up just as I'm cleaning along and I'm like well let's just give this a try LOL

      I almost used my 12 inch Conway today. Bigger area so I used the 14 inch. Wanted to use the Zipper but floors were uneven at times so stuck to wanding. Boy am I spoiled though using a Zipper on big places. Took me forever today 😅

    Hi mark so you just used straight mints eucalyptus treatment.

    • @MarkSaiger
      @MarkSaiger  Рік тому +2

      I used the P-Zyme product that has a bacteria compatible Eucalyptus Mint Odor Destroyer incorporated. I put it in my inline high pressure sprayer with the yellow tip out. That allows it to be applied at a 4 to 1 ratio. Apply it heavy as needed and let it dwell for at least 30 minutes 😊

    I don't understand why most carpet cleaners insist on banging into the walls with the wand.. One of my clients' previous cleaner did that, and she refused to him as molesting the walls.

    • @MarkSaiger
      @MarkSaiger  Рік тому

      Well there are some places you might need to be careful, but with a Teflon glided wand that absorbs shock and will typically not damage a wall or baseboard and while you are cleaning you do need to get up against that edge to pull soils out from the wall area. If a person is really crazy taking a swing at the wall I would call it then there could be serious damage. We sometimes have to pull sideways along walls and trim to be careful and to pull debris.

    How often do you clean your own carpets with the extractor?

    • @MarkSaiger
      @MarkSaiger  Рік тому

      Once a year typically, but this year with the new puppy Miley, I just did them again. She is being a bit unruly and also not good at doing her business all the time outside or getting our attention to go outside. She also will be outside for a time and do nothing but sniff around... Then we bring her in and she is naughty. It's being a challenge to get her to focus while outside. Too many things to sniff at

    Hey Mark, what the difference with the glides? They have different size slots.

    • @MarkSaiger
      @MarkSaiger  Рік тому

      The theory is a more open slot will still help make it easier to push and pull the wand and help with recovery and can pick up large debris especially if people do not prevac. There are times I still like the more open slot. A hole slot pushes easier and is supposed to recover more moisture but a person has to really vaccum well. There are a couple of glides in between such as the hybrid glide which is a short slot, then a hole, short slot, hole and continues across the glide that way. Another version is just short slots only. We tend to personally use large long slots or hybrid ourselves. Glides do help with water recovery for sure because it won't let the wand lock down. Lock down is like a straw on the bottom of your glass. You have to lift the straw slightly off the bottom to get suction. We also found in experimenting though that a hole glide is good for cleaner carpets but they do not clean soiled carpets as well.

    • @JustPerfectHomeServices
      @JustPerfectHomeServices Рік тому +1

      @MarkSaiger my wand is due for a new glide soon. Currently has small slots and goes fine. I bought a new glide with larger slots but haven't installed it yet. My theory is that bigger slots will let more air through and hopefully drier carpets.
      Smaller slots or holes have more restriction and more plastic to glide on the carpet, making it easier to push. You should make a video about it. I think some people may find it interesting.
      In other news, the code red with the g force booster is going well. I posted a video the other day with the white carpet.. stains were gone after prespraying. The customer thought it looked great before I even started extracting 😄.
