Nicely done! I haven't played Fez myself, but this was quite relaxing. Very impressed with how fluidly you switched the arpeggio between the hands. If I didn't watch your hands, I never would have known you were doing it because it was so seamless.
Yes you got to keep that motif playing throughout whilst playing the high notes and the bass so a bit of juggling but it’s not too bad. I need to play fez again, it was a long time ago and it kinda became a bit of a cult game
A lot of people say that it’s relaxing. It loops round from the end back to the start quite well, I almost should have played it on repeat for 10 min 😂
Nice to hear your new arrangement Daniel. It's surprising how good the music is in some indie games and how bad the music is in some AAA games. Good arrangement and very well played👍
such a beautiful arrangement !! I love both FEZ and TUNIC soundtrack. btw, it's not the title screen music but the music from the first level / area :)
Thanks for the correction, I changed the description now. To be honest it’s been many years since I played this game. There’s a few bars near the end of this piece that really remind me of Tunic but of course this soundtrack was years before it.
@@DGPianoUK I spotted one song from TUNIC that seemed to reference Fez, it's 'Relics of Comradery' , the motif is really similar to the song 'Knowledge' from Fez. Plus both of them have libraries when that song is used. And of course 'Redwood Colonnade' that surely referenced 'secret of the forest' from Chrono Trigger.
@@DGPianoUK I literally just found your channel tonight! (Thanks UA-cam) haha. I imagine it would, yeah, being a pianist and video gamer I reckon you'd fall in love with Hollow Knight's soundtrack. Worth playing too, i can't get enough of that game right now
wow this is so pretty
Thanks.
Beautiful arrangement!
Thankyou
Yesss! FEZ is one of my all time favourite games and i am so happy to see, that you made a piano cover!! :D
No worries glad you enjoyed it

@@DGPianoUK great idea, or longer ☺️
Beautiful!! Love the camera work as well! :3
Hi Gwen… I didn’t hear from you in a while. Good to see you in the comments, thanks
@@DGPianoUK OFC!! Thank you for keeping the music coming!!
I've been trying to learn this one since forever! I'm glad to see someone get it.
Thanks…..that reminds me I forgot to add the sheet music for this
This is really lovely and relaxing arrangement of this piece. I really like how you keep the flow and pulse pushing forward throughout.
Thankyou. I was thinking of playing a bit more freely but I think it needed that steady beat
Playing through the game right now. Such a peaceful piece ^^
Awesome game, I need to find the time to play again

Indie game music has more charm and character, it’s not that AAA is necessarily bad it’s just like it has become more like orchestral film scores

@Jayplay17 interesting analysis there. I’ll definitely have a listen to all those pieces again and see. Thankyou
Will you be doing any songs from "Hollow Knight"?
I can have a look, I have never played that game or heard the soundtrack to be honest. Do you think it would fit my style?

@WhiteSpears awesome. Glad you found me. I have less time for gaming these days unfortunately but I’ll definitely take a look thanks
