The removal of the B pillar went perfectly fine based on your tutorial. The problem I am facing now is to fit the pillar again properly in order to allow the seat belt mechanism to slide up down. What is the trick there?

@@RomanDoes I have a 2010 Combi A4. The plastic cover I meant is located on my car just next to the door grab on the backside of the car just on the left side up of the B pillar. Meanwhile I figured it out that it was a torx there that was needed to be removed and then the cover comes loose.
I've tried to remove the B pillar trim on a4 B9 following this video but i cannot remove the right bottom edge part no matter what.. the left goes easily off

Hi I have a Q2 and want to remove the A pillar trim. I can pop the top open but the second clip wont disengage no matter how hard I pull. And before someone says it there is no "AIRBAG" symbol on it hiding a torque screw like you see in other videos. (there is however an airbag there) Any help guys would be appreciated.

Thanks for taking care of it, somehow I missed this comment
My 2019 Q8 B pillar has an airbag icon at the top. Will removing the panel cause the issues with this airbag? I’m trying to replace the seatbelts.
Disconnect car battery before disconnecting and reconnecting airbag. Otherwise there is no issue from touching it.
How do you remove this piece to replace with a new one? I think the seatbelt is bolted into the floor of the car and attached with a metal rope.
You answered your own question! You need to undo the belt and then replace the panel.
Hello, so you can remove the upper pillar without removing the lower plastic one??
Yep
@@RomanDoes Nice, thanks mate!
Thanks Roman, used this to the trim from our Mk 7 VW Golf great information worked a treat thank you
How can you replace one with a new trim piece? How to remove seatbelt?
for that you need to remove the bottom part too and unscrew the seatbelt
what's the name of the part under the B Pillar. I mean the black part that goes to the door side
Its called lower or bottom B-pillar trim. And the part you see on the video is often called upper or top trim
Hi there
Do you know how to remove the plastic cover located on the right side of the grab handle?
You mean A-pillar? What model is your car?

Same process to remove 2017 Q7 C pillar ?
Correct, tried it on 2018 Q7. Just watch out for the vent, pull it out first otherwise you might damage it.
Excellent, thank you. Is the vent removal straightforward?

Hi Ray, can you send me the pic of your A-pillar, I've put dash cam wires on quite a few cars and wonder what yours looks like.
