Exactly sir .... When I shifted to mumbai initially I struggled a lot ... Then I started watching movies and songs I was able to understand .... I used to call customer care centre only to speak in English .. that way I build up my confident ,then start speaking with my friends. This is my experience .

I can relate to what you said about being shy in front of people when speaking English incase I got it wrong in my younger days when I came back from boarding school. My family and friends asked me to speak in English but I refused as I was shy. I was around eight years old then. My parents were preparing me for life in London.😁
