Awww sweet Meg, I can see you having to do that after crossing over onto black island the other day 😆 Adrian fab video, excellent to see your girl getting stuck in and helping 🥰
Hi Adrian, just finished watching your latest video with my 5 year old. Who loves watching it. That yellow tagger will do the both sets of tags so you don't need the blue tagger at all.
As a farmer's son I know what it's like to be a farmer. Hard, hard labour all year round, long days and also psychological pressure. Those who criticise farmers wouldn't last a week in a farmer's shoes.
Adrian, I’m not from a farming background but I must say I do enjoy sitting on the couch in the evening and watching what goes on, on your farm. You’ve really opened my eyes up as to how hard ye really work and us non farmers take for granted just walking into the shop for milk or cheese etc. keep up the good work and the videos 👍🏻
That alley of trees is stunning. I hope you have taken some pictures of the girls as they grow walking down the alley. Maybe a wedding in the future, some day?
Absolutely love this Sundays video Adrian, To see your daughter working hard and you both together having a fun “crack”!;-) is a joy to watch. You bring sunshine and humbled honesty to dark times at the moment. Thank you.
Happy Easter Adrian. Iam not from a farming background but just love to see what you lads get up too on the day to day running of the farm i think its brilliant you lads deserve more for what you do 👍👍
Another brilliant video Adrian, something for everyone. Them calves are smashing and a real credit to you. Really looking forward to the new video’s of other farms, great idea. Keep up the good work lad 👍
It's a bad day when you don't learn something new. I've put in a lot of bvd tags and always struggle to put the cap on. Will be trying that with the taggers next time👍👍great video as always. Calves looking in grate order.
Good informative video Adrian those yellow tags came out around 1997 I think. Great to see your able assistant giving a hand and having the craic! 😉 Lovely row of trees on the out farm 👍
What a way to start my day. A cup of coffee and Adrian and daughter working on the farm and letting us come along. Great job and keep up the good work. Always nice to hear from you and I enjoy your positivity and content. Have a great day!
Great video Adrian, tough times for farmers, but we have to soldier on, thanks for what you do, 👍 Happy Easter to you and your family, ps I have a quad the same as you, might be no harm replace the vent pipe on your petrol filler cap, ran into problems with my own with water getting in there and gumming up the fuel system.
Well, it never surprises me 25minutes with your Vid only seems like 5mins they go so fast. Brilliant to watch, humerus and lively. Keep um coming Adrian and let us know more about the bull and when its likely to arrive. Take it easy my friend
Nice one Adrian , if the mill and mansion were there in the 1800s you’ll be able to see exactly where they were on Geohive map viewer. It has all the old handrawn maps from the 1800s . . Its great . Ill drop the link below 👍🏻
Animals just make my heart happy, lol. Whether it's dogs thinking that if you're down here, you must either want their help or attention, or like your darling Pet, she says, well I'm dad's favorite, so I'm giving boss girl energy everywhere I go! Good grief, I catch myself just watching the drama my chickens create for themselves. I think they make our lives a much better place! ❤ Also, super excited for your new content. You're too right - too many people think steak comes from the grocery store, period. More is ALWAYS needed!
When horse rugs are washed they are usually put in a washing machine. Am sure you wife would not appreciate the calf coats being put into your home washing machine, but would you could consider getting another washing machine and setting it up. just a thought!
Thanks for sharing your life as a dairy farmer. Your videos are excellent. I am looking forward to your visiting other farms. I love seeing the “old way” compared to the “new way”. SaskDutchKid, from Canada, recently toured several mega HUGE dairies in California. Very interesting to learn how they recycle and reuse muck. California has strict waste (muck) and water use laws designed to reduce global warming.
Well adrian, Ciaran from Co Tyrone here, just to let you know you can use the same taggers to put in both tags, there is a pin pushed into the one of the handles on your taggers if you remove it, it will clip into the hole we're your bvd tag goes, that allows you to put in both tags with the same set of taggers. 👌👌
HI Adrian, thanks for all your great work on and off camera!, you are a credit to the farming community, I was wondering did you and your family consider setting up a second channel for your "farm tours", all of us here I would guess would sub straight away, I've seen a few others do it, sounds like a great project, looking forward to it 👍
Not yet Edward, we have served a lot of cows in the last few days so we’ll see how things go. I’d only need a bull to clean up so plenty of time yet, may rent one if it hasn’t been on any other farm.
Interesting to watch how your tagging process works in your part of the world. Similar but different here in nz. We are one of the few farms who do still have and use the brass tags as they're the only tag which will never fall out or fade
I hate watching anything to do with Calves, because it brings back a bad memory. I have the misfortune of having been born in England, but I also recognise that had I not been born in a large English Hospital, I likely would not have survived the birth process. Every school holiday was spent at home in Ireland, on one family farm or another. And on one of those farms, My Uncle gave Me a Calf and all through My holiday I cared for it. Next holiday when I came back to see My Calf it had been sold. I was devastated. The loss of that Calf was a trauma I have never outgrown and I never forgave My Uncle for not telling Me, before I discovered for Myself, that My Calf was gone.
And here's a good one for Adrian and his 'manual records' ; I knew of a situation where book-keepers had to transcribe computer printouts of job costing reports for their bosses - funny enough but most of these companies survived, most of the others didn't! And I made my living out of selling them the computers!
Packo tanks gives lots of trouble I’ve found. Sensors go once or twice a year. They have no out of hours service and closed the weekend if your stuck for a part. If tank is washed soon after milking foam can mess up the wash cycle.
If you ever want to find a map of the old mill and mansion OSi have maps from the 1850s onwards for free online! I've used them for my geography degree and have learned so much about our own land and the old forts, raths and estates that used to be in my local area its really interesting. Of course I dont know where you are so I can't look for you but I can certainly send you the link if you want it
I’m blushing here Adrian 😁. I use my wing mirrors to check if the dog is still on the bike after we hit a bump 🤣. Great content as always!
😂😂😂
Awww sweet Meg, I can see you having to do that after crossing over onto black island the other day 😆 Adrian fab video, excellent to see your girl getting stuck in and helping 🥰
❤️Cammy, Lizzie, Lil’ Jock, & Meg❤️
Your lucky your dog can get up on the quad Cammy, if my Hutson got up on mine the wheels would burst 💥 🤣.

Hi Adrian, just finished watching your latest video with my 5 year old. Who loves watching it. That yellow tagger will do the both sets of tags so you don't need the blue tagger at all.
Farming is everyone's bread and butter.😉 great video. Lots of memories for me when you do certain things. Thanks!
As a farmer's son I know what it's like to be a farmer. Hard, hard labour all year round, long days and also psychological pressure. Those who criticise farmers wouldn't last a week in a farmer's shoes.

I agree, all animals especially dogs in my case are great companions
If u filled your cement mixer with warm water and fairy liquid and throw in the jackets works fairly well
If you hold ur hand on end off taggers where the bvd sample is and squeeze it will pop into place save you tapping your taggers on gate 👍
It’s a good job about the carbon paper. She’s a good lass.

I seen that, it’s great to see how things are done differently from country to country and farm to farm. Every day is a learning day for sure. 👍
That sounds like we're in for some great videos over summeronths so
Sorry Adrian, I got carried away with my rant I forgot to wish you a Happy Easter great video as usual
And you and yours mate 👍

Never knew that one, thanks for the tip Ciaran
Bet Pemberton's farm will be one of the farms you visit
I buy in calves amd every calf is dosed for scour it keeps them thriving
Great video, a few people around here washes the calf jackets in the washing machines that you might see at a filling station 🤫🤫
I’ve seen that, and much worse 🙈

Adrian brilliant video as always did you make your mind up yet about a bull you were thinking about
Not yet Edward, we have served a lot of cows in the last few days so we’ll see how things go. I’d only need a bull to clean up so plenty of time yet, may rent one if it hasn’t been on any other farm.

In fairness I’ve yet to see the writing on yellow tags fade yet.
@@davidcummins1108 must be better colour used in your tags and harsher sun here
