Since releasing her first single "Youth" on Neon Gold, Foxes, AKA Louisa Rose Allen, has had two songs on Gossip Girl, and added her vocals to Fall Out Boy's "Just One Yesterday," plus Zedd's ginormous dance track "Clarity." The latter landed the pair in the Billboard Top 20 and a spot on Letterman.
Currently, the 24-year-old is prepping her debut album, full of sparkly pop songs with a melancholic edge.
We joined Foxes at her home in east London, ahead of her photoshoot for Noisey, to rummage through her closet, flip through her old photo albums-embarrassing pics included-and talk to her about her music and style influences. Amongst others, Foxes namechecks Natalie Portman's character in Léon: The Professional, which is the most badass style reference we've heard yet.
