In this clip, Tech N9ne details his rise as an independent artist. He talked about the artists before him that were on the indie grind and how he drew inspiration from them. Tech N9ne went on to disclose his crazy touring schedule stating that he performs roughly 250 shows a year and is currently setting up for a 60+ day tour starting in April.
Tech N9ne went on to clear the air about his rift with ICP or Insane Clown Posse. He said that the misunderstanding stemmed from a Hot97 interview he did with Ebro in the Morning. Tech N9ne was one of the first I remember screaming independent back then, I remember others eventually becoming that but I didn't know they labels until he was screaming it for almost three years straight, didn't even listen to him when he was on a label but knew of him because my cousin, I could be wrong about him being one of the first but that's what I remember hearing in the Midwest part of the United States in the 2000s
I remember meeting him at Penn square mall when I was a janitor working in the food court, he shook my hand with the dirty gloves I had in and was like don't worry about taking it off and gave me a CD too he's humble
