I dont like the slanting and low ceiling coming down on your face above the bed when sleeping or above your head when you are sitting.

Beautifully decorated. Please don’t change your furniture sofa etc. you have nice classic style sofa. Only thing to brighten up the room is painting the rooms white or off white to look good with brown beams and dark furniture. And change the front door colour from red to black or light greyish. If it’s south facing front door then don’t need to change. Enjoy your new home 🏡 🌈

Didi your living room furniture and dining table are perfect. They are classic styles that never go out of fashion. Please don't be in a rush to change them. In future you can consuder reupholstering the chairs if you wish. But as is they are looking beautiful in this space.
I wanted to ask you, how are you finding the rooms with the slanted ceilings? They are so unique and beautiful to look at but are they practical? Are you able to use all the space in the rooms? For kids i understand it maybe fun.. but as adults, have you gotten used to them?

Only 2 suggestions….. keep a vintage distressed mirror (main door )above console table. And I’d love to keep one plant like fiddle fig or snake plant in Rai s room. She gets ample sun and the plant will grown nicely.
@@limaimchen8101 but it’s not good for dogs I have heard especially the snake plant . Mirror is a very good idea and you r correct Rai’s room get ample amount of sunlight indoor plant will be good
@@SimpleLivingWiseThinking they aren’t so toxic that is dangerous for them. But you can do a double pot with the outer one tall. This will elevate the room plus very beneficial as act as air purifier

I always waned the double front French doors!! I didn't get it so far!! Old style dark beams on the ceiling looks very nice. Big, bright space for keep everything beautifully. Enjoy to the fullest!! ❤❤

You have decorated and organised your home so well,only a small suggestion the TV you have kept isn't right behind is the window,you shud have kept the tv where there is wall coz there are chances of moist from outside setting and spoiling your tv.otherwise your home looked elegant and cozy.❤
Congratulations!! Minimal decorations are quite good. I m in uk, I have 7 yrs old son he likes to sleep with me, even m not confident he can sleep separately. Your sofa is still fine. Dark colour sofa is a good option when we have toddler.
