The oem tends to leak internally . Mine did at 40k miles and my brothers m2 did around 70k. Upgraded mine and never looked back. Not too much of a power upgrade but on long drives nothing to worry about living in Texas
@@Autofreakgarage absolutely it's pricey but at the end of the day the value of the car itself is a big investment. Just like any other mod you get for this platform
@@diditiu3988 it leaks internally so check your reservoir. Mine would runoe after a month. Only way to notice. And if you take off the cooler check your j pipe. It should be dry but if not then it's leaking. Definitely good to change before you ruin head gasket from having too much coolant in the engine. So just Chargecooler and it's pretty much plug and play
For all the reasons you mentioned is exactly why I didn’t go with CSF as well, I have the Wagner charge cooler on my M2C zero issues, my stock hood was cut very minor to fit it and honestly if I didn’t show were it was cut you wouldn’t be able to see it or notice it , great video as usual.
csf has a nice cooler. id upgrade it just because they do crack, leaking coolant into your cylinders and if too much coolant gets in you might hydro lock your engine.
Some great information, I hadn't realized that the Mishimoto charge cooler is actually carb legal which is a huge plus for those of us in California. Definitely going with this one in the future for that reason alone not to mention it looks great and seems to be proven to work
Awesome I needed this. I got CH, DP and Midpipe done on stage 2 93 tune. Looking to upgrade the cooling. I agree, I want reliability before power. Thanks.
Money no object, the best charge cooler available is the PWR one, but it's also by far the most expensive.

Peace of mind is worth it!

When it leaked what happened? What parts or other things you had to spend because of the leaking?

Yes! It comes with a really nice carb plaque as well.
Thanks for your thoughts! What’s your opinion on the Mosselman oil thermostat?

Did you consider the Garrett one? Heard that was the best besides Wagner.
Briefly looked at it as well but didn’t consider it as it seems like it’s in the similar category as the Wagner in regards to power.

Engine bay is hella nice scoob 🤙🏼
Thanks brother! About to get better 👍🏻
Don’t be cheap on the J pipe. I had a vacuum leak because of a cheap j pipe
