They will abide therein for ages. 24. Nothing cool shall they taste therein, nor any drink. 25. Except boiling water, and dirty wound discharges - 26. An exact recompense ( according to their evil crimes ) . 27. For verily, they used not to look for a reckoning. 28. But they belied Our Ayât ( proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, and that which Our Prophet ( saas ) brought ) completely. 29. And all things We have recorded in a Book. 30. So taste you ( the results of your evil actions ) . No increase shall We give you, except in torment.

I swear by Allah a few years ago when I was in Hagia Sophia when it was a museum, I tried to pray in there 2 rakah nafl and was stopped by security. I was angered by this and it's previous glory of it being a Masjid SubhanAllaah. And prayed to Allah to return it to masjid as they stopped me from praying here. Low an behold few years later it is now a Masjid Alhamdulillah. I am still to go there and make long Sujood in gratitude to ALLAH. Alhamdulillah.
You can visit it on some days it is also open for christians. There are also still paintings and motives from Christians. They don't destroy or overpainted it.
