Hey Jason, we visited Guizhou during the Easter holiday. When we were planning the trip, we saw in the map app pictures of your square and HanBaoWang. So we decided to take a detour there. We even ate at the HanBaoWang, and kept looking outside the window hoping to see Lincoln... I mean you...😅
Same here, we went to Xinyi one month ago, lovely city, nice food, variety of fruit and friendly people. We also visited 万峰林 and 万峰布衣，Jason, nice choice😀
@@terrytdai Yes, we visited 万峰林 as well, a very lovely place. You mentioned the people, and I have to add that the people we met are all very friendly, and proud of their uniqueness. More than once complete strangers in restaurants showed us authentic ways of eating certain dishes, said they wanted us to fully enjoy our time in Guizhou. And I guess they certainly succeeded 😁
wangfenglin(萬峰林) outside the city of xingyi (where jason lives) is far more famous than the city itself. most of chinese have never heard of xingyi. but a lot of chinese know wangfenglin which is a very iconic natural scene in southwest china.....

Some countries such as the US has a "tipping system" built into the wages of low wage earners such as waiters, bar tenders and delivery persons. It is assumed that patrons would tip for the service they received.

A fun little Lincoln is growing up fast! Those northern parts of Chinese foods are exceptionally rare in the Chinatowns here in the US. Most foods from early Chinatowns were from the Southern part of China, mostly Cantonese or Fujianess. I think I might find them in a younger demographic of Flushing Chinatown in Queens, NYC, here where mostly from the northern and central part of China, such as Chongqing and spicy.
I am from Hong Kong and first time to watch your YT channel. Can't imagine that a foreigner like you will appreciate China so much. So many US and Europe press and media always demonize China and ignore the fact. Of course China has so many things not satisfied by everyone. I saw your anther video admiring Chinese train and stations. In fact not everywhere is modern as this. Somewhere is still like 10 years ago and has many Abandoned construction site due to collapse of the real estate market. And high unemployment rate of younger....etc. However, China is still much better than most people think around the world.

There's so much interests about China nowadays around the world, especially from the West. Here's an idea:
How about making some HOW TO videos for tourists who want to visit China: Apply Visa to China, Current Visa rules, Get their phones working in China, Popular APPs & how to use it in China for: Translator, Alipay, Maps, Booking hotel, Trains, Restaurants... etc.
Each topic can be a single short video, I think there would be a big demand for it.

Back when all that Princess Kate photoshop drama was fresh, I immediately thought of this channel and the way in which The Sun, if I recall correctly, had knowingly altered pictures from Jason's channel which while not the same as publishing a photo made from another, still showed the uncritical scrutiny brought to the photos used by that news outlet and the selective hype there is surrounding which kind of edited photo is cause for outrage.
