You know what's crazy? That very Newmark house you walked through that was at the 950k to 1.1 million range...was 520k base and 650k out the door 3 1/2 years ago. :O lol
I know. My mother is trying to convince me to retire in Georgia but I’m looking at these area north of Houston. Massive 3acre plot with big homes for 550.
Homeschool Families don't have to worry about no schools 🥰

My beloved Cypress ❤️, how I miss it.
The only problem I have with Houston areas like this is there are no trees. When outside you are just cooking proper.
True. But one can choose Woodforest, Woodland Hills, The Woodlands, Grand Central Park, Kingwood etc. Many master-planned communities are in the Houston-Sugar Land-The Woodlands area. You also have Evia in Galveston. Finding a suitable place in Houston isn't the problem, its your financial prowess that matters.
What I don't like about Bridgeland is there're no shopping centers inside the community. You have to drive to the outside to shop or eat.
Living here I love that there are no shopping centers inside the neighborhood. That just welcomes people in. lol
Excellent video, what is the name of the builder that you showed for that modern house

How many trails there in bridge land and biking trails Jackson thanks
Countless. Billions of miles 🤣🤣 there are a ton and it’s all on a nature preserve
@@houstontexasliving33 you can mountain bike a trek on the trails how far do they go around the community or in the back of the subdivision
Very beautiful.
From Ohio..great video and real informative..thanks🎉🎉
Awesome house
If those houses don't have the ZIP System® sheathing and tape exterior walls, stucco on the outside and then if the interior of that zip system is not foamed then it is not fully insulated. My home has the zip system with foamed walls on every exterior wall as well as the interior roof deck. I have no insulation in the attic, not needed (its foamed) and it's about 78 degrees in the summer in the attic. LOL
Moving from spokane Washington 🫡❤️

Hello, Love The House , But What Is The Cost Please ???
Looks very nice. I want to move Texas from California one day. This is definitely a place I’d consider living.
@@mikedb1016 don’t worry. No plans as of yet. I also wouldn’t California your Texas 😉
Don’t. Traffic is really bad. Property tax is really high. Your best option is Florida.
@@inquisitvem6723 I’ve lived in Florida before. I wouldn’t mind moving back as well.
@@rdogshow it’s probably not as hot ỉn Florida too…we’ve had 100 degrees and close to it in SE Texas for the past two weeks…I can’t do any yard work for more than 15 min before having to take a break. I think “across the pond” refers to the channel between Europe and the UK 😂 I like the videos!
thats why i asked hahah no clue!! I will stick with shooting vids about houston!
It’s a tongue-in-cheek reference to the whole distance between Europe/ UK and America, i.e., the Atlantic Ocean.
Making better videos cause of this video man thanks for being the example of how to help our clients thru Video
For those wondering. THE UNKNOWN OF THE WALLER INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT - (the High School Commute is the issue as of right now)- while hes baiting with that #1 reason for avoiding in a minute (man just say it instead of repeating that same line… doing a house tour…its childish, annoying and not a good practice)…….we would watch the entire video we want to see the tours but please stop baiting……
Yea that tactic made me unsubscribe. It was a very sleezy car salesman move. Just be honest and upfront with your viewers. Be confident in your content without being condescending to your subscribers by baiting them.
Broke my 💔 on the house price!
We are coming from Sandpoint, ID.
I was not impressed with Katy, tbh.
Having high hopes for Cypress.
Jo jo actong like he doesn't like being recorded 😂😂😂
This video was so obnoxious.. how many times can you tease "but there's a reason people don't buy here? " literally every minute it felt like you brought that up. I swear, 20% of the video is just you dragging it out
I want the shopping center site plan
Too bad there aren't any trees !
yup we have talked about that for sure, like below if you want all the trees kingwood or the woodlands is where its at!
@@houstontexasliving33 and I'm sure they don't sue elderly people with MS for $275K causing them to lose their home - for feeding the ducks either!
We desperately need a Bridgeland or Tavola in Cleveland TX

So what are the 2 reasons to avoid moving there? Reason #1 the High School is far, what is Reason #2 ?
They sued an elderly couple with MS $275K for feeding the ducks and they lost their house. That's a pretty good #2.
@@sharonkelly4224 What!!! That is absurd! how about just a fine so that people will learn? wow!! That must to have made the news!
@@tenssiegarcia8586 oh yeah, it's all over the news - the lawsuit was recent I think like in 2022. Just google it. Hell will freeze over before I would live there! The HOA is a brewing pot of Karen's apparently. Look up their rules, they're ridiculous - like only two cars per house and they have to be parked in the garage at night.
@@tenssiegarcia8586 I replied a LONG comment to yours and wonderful YT deleted/hid it. You'll have to Google it I guess. Sometimes I can't stand the censorship that YT does. Mfs who live here 👍
So everyone is all the sudden rich now? They are avoiding because of the prices.
I live in bridgeland
I live in vancouver BC, becuase house prices are the same (if not) more than living in san diego)
exploring the idea to moving to houston.
I love to have a driveway
I would like to relocate to Texas, I have family living there. The houses look nice and so does the area, but for that price, I would stay here in Torrance California near all the beaches. The houses around my area start and/or about the same price. Not much difference from beautiful Torrance with botanical gardens, Redondo Beach and Hermosa Beach. I may consider an area in Texas where prices are more affordable, otherwise, it will make no sense for me to leave a nice place for the same price in another state. The place looks nice and Texas is a great state.
I was about to freak out that our hood has houses the same price as Torrance, California until I went to Zillow and pulled up Torrance. I'm seeing a ton of 1,500 sq ft houses near that house's price...and this is nearly 5k sq ft. The lowest price house in Torrance (on the market now) about 3,500 sq ft is 2.1 million. Double the price.
Shopping shopping shopping. I’m so tired of shopping. Looks like all people care most is shopping lol
We can do shopping online . Not big deal.
Can we have more parks with trails with water splashes and pools instead ?
We have enough malls in Houston.
But those parks won’t Bring as much profit … so malls where money is… money money money are all builders care about.
Delaying the main point of the video and teasing your viewers wouldn't work if you wanna grow your channel.
Time is precious so make your content is valuable then you wouldn't need to tease people to make them watch 30mins or 1hr video.
I am out.
who has time to listen to this?
It’s not TW! Not even close ….
As a native, and local radio DJ... We don't use "The" when we say a freeway number. That's reserved for its title only. For example: The Grand Parkway or ninety-nine. Never "THE 99".
Same with I-10. Notice I did not say "THE 10". However, it's title is "THE Katy Freeway".
See, if you're just saying the number, that's it's Name. No need for the "The".
"The" Chairman of the Board", Frank.
Vs just "Frank".
I'm coming from New York
Let me decide whether it is going to be Austin or Houston
My first preference is Houston
Why?
I don't know yet. Let me first land in Houston and start searching

This is the HOA that sued an elderly couple with MS $275K for feeding ducks and they lost their home. Just fyi.
Also, flooding... lots and lots of flooding
No houses have ever flooded in bridgeland due to the great system they have in place to handle storm water.
The streets are designed for the water to flow through them to the drainage system and into the lakes.
The highest the water will go is up to the wing wall.
500k homes
Wow Texas is soooooooo overrated. I live in Big Canoe Georgia, not even Atlanta and my community is so much better than this place.
The number one problem "HOA" no thanks...
And this is the worst HOA in Houston! Look this up - they actually sued an elderly couple (with MS) $275K, causing them to lose their home - for feeding the ducks!! And they have lived there for 11 years. Heartless.
This is the HOA that sued a poor elderly couple (the husband had MS) for $275K for feeding the ducks. Yep, you heard that right - for feeding ducks. Something that people do at every single park/pond/community in America. But this HOA used abuse of power to enforce this and it cost this couple their home. Yep, they lost their home. So unless you want to be harassed for every single thing you do by cowards that hide behind three letters - don't move here! I bet they are so proud of themselves! I wonder if their families and relatives are? #abuseofpower #houstonliving #bridgelandtexas #KathleenRowe
Coming from Canada dying to move
Property tax 15k.....I'm good
shoot thats low compared to some new areas. ya prop tax here in houston is an issue for real!
Property taxes are around 2.8-2.9% of Property value. So $30k per year for a $1.1milllion property.
