- Here is a quick walk through of my Midsouth gravel race. Really happy with the early season fitness and vibes. Not so happy with my race tactics in the final k of the race but it's all catalogued and to be learned from.

Beastly fast!
Great report
thanks Kerry
Great recap and thanks for the insight into how the pointy end of the race unfolded. Attacking into a hill was a super smart move, which obviously paid dividends. Regardless, great riding out there, especially considering you got back onto the group after a flat.
Phenomenal vids, training, and thank you so much for taking us along for the rides. Can’t wait to stop by your tent at Big Sugar!
🎉CONGRATULATIONS on getting a podium spot!🎉 GREAT recap. Thanks for sharing.
Killed it out there. Chapeau
interesting tactic in the final, I definitely learned something!
Love to see it!
Wished GRX could use 36T cassette like the 105 di2😅😅😅
Outstanding job Kerry! Really loving the race coverage, it's great perspective, and analysis on what the pointy end of the race looks like! Good luck with your racing season!
Where's Sherm??
Thank you for continuing to prove that CX'ers make the best all-around cyclists. :D
That's a great mix of the race and vibe surrounding it. I lined up next to you at the start, but had no idea until I saw this. We both got 3rd. Overall and 60+
Great videos coming out of the race and congrats. Sick power.
What is your review of climbing mt Lemon?
Good luck on your season! Enjoy your vlogs and recaps.
Thanks for the recap Kerry. Congrats!
Great recap Kerry. Sorry about all the crazy horn beeping from the lead car at the finish. Desperately trying to protect you guys.
No way. I would rather have had it. haha It just added to the stress and my lack of course knowledge didn't help haha.
@@KDubzDidWhat toughest finish in gravel course-wise. I had to text the local cops from the car letting them know when we'd be running through campus. Nuts.
Thanks for keeping us safe out there!
@KerryWernervlog - congrats on a great start to your season. Pisgah and you Lees McCrea days should set up well for Sea Otter - I’ll be rootin’ fer ya
Nice recap, Kerry--congrats on a great race. I'm wondering what seat bag you're using here. Thanks.
Hell of an effort there buddy. Well done! -Lacy
Strong ride brother. When the "sprint" starts with 600 meters to go, that's just next level silly.
I love the explanations and details of the day. Keep it up on the ride and on the Vlog.
Congrats on the new BF position. I have a BF hat too.
Why not a big gear 1x for a course like Mid South?
what's wrong with a double?
@@KDubzDidWhat 1x is the future! No, seriously, I just think you can do more and worry less with a 1x. I also did not realize that you are supported by Shimano, which is a little tougher to make a 1x work
@@jeremysweeten2792 "do more and worry less" but he came in 3rd and had no mech issues... 🙄 why fix what isn't broken.
Gittin' them hugs while they're still Fresh
Thank for this Kerry !
Incredible ride dude keep it up!
Nice work!
What was your fueling and hydration strategy? How did you handle the aid stations without a hydration pack?
I had 2x 32oz bottles with 100g/cho in each (flow formulas). Then I got a hand up at the 50mile aid, which was another 32oz bottle with 100g's. flowformulas.com/kerry2023

Do you know when Maxxis will release the tire in a 40c. I love them and will even more in the 40c
I was told Q2.
Nice work Kerry, please keep the vlogs rolling 🤘
Go get it!
Congratulations! I really love hearing your battles in the races and the details of the bikes!!❤🔥🤙🏼
