So neat the colony buys snacks...but gotta say all the packages do not hold a candle to the food your colony makes. The music and play was lovely.

Pigs in blankets. It's such an interesting thing to me how many different foods are called "pigs in blankets". Where I'm originally from (Midwestern USA) it's a breakfast sausage link wrapped in a fluffy pancake (like a taco or burrito). Some folks think it's a hot dog in bread dough, some it's a breakfast sausage in a croissant dough, and here in England where I currently live, it's a sausage wrapped in bacon (no dough at all).
Every variation sounds delicious!

We don't have Hutterites in my part of Kansas, but we do have Amish friends who recently moved in. I love visiting them when I get the opportunity.
