    The ChooChoo Barn was so cool. Very impressive how many mechanics are going on in that one set. So impressive the level of detail. I could have watched that for awhile. That looked like a really fun day for you guys. It’s nice to not have to plan for hours of traffic just to enjoy your day.

    Sure were lucky to see 475 running. She's the oldest operating steam locomotive on the Strasburg Railroad which is also the oldest railroad in America, most famous, and has been hauling tourist and photo freights since they first became a tourist line in 1959 before officially becoming one in 1960. Not to mention 475 was seen in a film and is completely different like got a new look 4 years after the footage was recorded in 2015.

    I lived in Lancaster County for five years and went to Strasburg more than a couple of times. If you like trains, it's a great place to be. They even have a bunch of retired guys volunteering there and their only job is to work on restoring old engines and rail cars. I'm now back in Philly where my daughter lives...I miss it Lancaster, except for the fact that they roll up the sidewalks on Sunday. :-)

    That collection of cabooses you saw was a motel, Bruno. Some of the cabooses there are painted in the livery of the New Haven Railroad, Boston and Maine as well as the Maine Central Railroad. Maine Central Railroad used to have their rail yard in my home city of Bangor, but it was closed in the early 90's. If you head north to Scranton, you would have found Steamtown, which is home to MEC #519. She is one of three surviving steam locomotives from Maine Central along with MEC #501 and MEC #470. MEC #470 is currently undergoing restoration to operational condition and going to be operated on the Downeast Scenic Railroad in Ellsworth, ME where I volunteer my time as part of the track crew.

    I haven't been to Strasburg in years. Loved the Railroad Museum of PA (a must whenever in the area) when we went there and, of course riding behind steam. I road behind number 90, the ex-Great Western decapod. 475 is a former Norfolk & Western engine, also a great one to ride! Never did get a chance to go to the model train museum unfortunately. I need to go back there for a single purpose vacation

      No time to do editing and nowhere to upload. Such a shame for that whole trip to go to waste so trying to work it in as I can. Same deal with our other road trip. Travel all day, shoot a ton of video, find a hotel late at night, get up real early and back on the road. Many hotels have painfully slow internet too, like 1,000 minutes for a four minute video. :-/

    If only you could make your PR Collection as animated as that Train set up. That would be amazing. The Rangers and Zords actually actively fighting on the shelf, If only right? It would also make filming easier if they where really moving but that would be hard to actually pull off. Can always dream though.

    • @DividedAsOne
      @DividedAsOne  8 років тому

      Shelves would probably be tricky. Those motors go down pretty far. That's an idea I had a long time ago. If I ever get my Power Rangers toy museum, I would have something more like the table at Choo Choo Barn rather than shelves like you see in the display room. That would be a really amazing thing. Someone out there could make it happen....

    • @pokelestrals2024
      @pokelestrals2024 8 років тому

      You've got enough stuff for a Museum already. Hopefully wherever you guys end up moving to will have a big enough basement for storage and a mini museum. Charge a small admission and soon you could have enough to buy a place to make a full PR Museum. I know it will happen someday. I would love to see "The MMPRtoys Museum & Gift Shop", or you can just call the Gift Shop, "Brunos Toy Store".

      Last time we were in PA we of course took a ride into NY for the day and went to Image Anime :) I'm not sure if PA has any stores like that. I just know of the usual toy stores like TRU, Walmart, Target, Kmart.... Prior to the footage in this video the last time I spent a good deal of time in PA was 1997. There could be places I'm not aware of.
