I'm excited for my current order at PSA as they are 1990/00 baseball. Hoping to get a few PSA 10s on some Griffey inserts. The Jeter looks like maybe pinched when they sealed the pack, such a bummer. That Brady though 🔥

Wow man what a nice lot of stuff. That embiid is super nasty. Seems like a gamble to crack it from 9.5 especially with a die cut but hey it worked out for ya. Awesome stuff as usual my friend!
I had one card that looked really good and it got a 7 and I realized a similar factory defect as well. It is unfortunate when you miss things like that, but it is funny going through 9's and 10's and BOOM 😂 Great return though!
Bravo for owing up to the Jeter mistake. Nothing I can’t stand more than ppl who automatically go to the “psa ruined my card” sure it happens but user error is highly more likely…everyone makes mistakes
Agreed! I see a lot of reveals where they unfairly blame PSA. Sure PSA damage does happen but not more than submitter error. Thanks for the view and comment 👍
I cracked a BGS 8.5 of the Jeter SP foil like 2 months ago, and it came back a PSA 6. The corners were def worse than when I sent it in. The subs on the BGS slab were 9.5 centering, 8.5 corners, 8.5 surface, an 9.5 edges. It was .5 away from a 9 and then suddenly it was a PSA 6! I cracked it and sent to SGC, where it got a 7. I'm never cracking out anything pre-2000 ever again.
@@littlevictoriessportscards197 It was a lesson learned for sure. Went from like a $400 card to $110 ultimately. I ended up selling the card in the SGC 7. At that point it had such a bad memory associated with it I decided to move on. It happens! Thanks for the great content.
heartbreak on that Jeter, I think it's from the old Upper Deck foil pack sealing that did that. I've found some rough cards with that before but nothing like a Jeter SP

Trust me I get gut punched on some PSA orders too. I just take the good with the bad. I submit enough it seems to even out 👍 Better luck on your future orders and happy collecting!
I recently submitted a couple Derek Jeter Topps rookies that were Gem HGAs. I got back a 7 and an 8. PSA must be putting these classic Jeter cards under harsher scrutiny. That, or the variance in how companies grade is pretty wide 😅
I’d say both are correct. PSA grades Jeter stuff tough, and the variance between companies is crazy (especially grading the SP foil jeter rc). Thanks for watching the vid and comment 🙌

quick question i seen you sent in bgs slabs to get psa graded did you just send the whole slab in or did you crack it yourself? and also did you have to ask for special permission in order to keep the bgs name tag tab plz let me know
I crack it out myself 🙌 I strongly recommend doing that if you’re hoping for a grade bump 👍 PSA rarely gives a higher grade if you send in the whole slab and try for a crossover. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching

That Jeter has a crimp where the factory sealed the pack and it got pinched.
