I could listen to this guy tell stories all day. I love talking to older self taught kind of guys , you can learn more from them in a week than a year at college
Never thought I'd see him again....It was only my car but when he saw me...disabled with two canes...he didn't hesitate to assist me...he fixed my problem without charge...I was on my way to the New Liskeard Hospital...that was back in 2008...I lived in Latchford at the time and now in Mississauga...Will never forget him.....nor his unique truck...
This guy operates out of a small town about 2.5 hours from where I am. I had him come and change a leaf spring for me while I was working, he was in and out in under an hour, had absolutely everything with him. I was blown away by that truck. True old school dude, excellent set up.
This gentleman was probably one of the most honest, humble, and genuine "interviewee's" I have ever listened to here on UA-cam. His video segment was a pleasure to watch.
this man is on his game! people like that ready for anything on the side of the road makes me happy to be a driver with that kind of support!! keep it up bro!!
He helped me one time back in spring 2014 in new liskeark. I stopped in husky truck stop and called him to fix the major air leak on my trailer. I never see him again but I remember him as a friendly professional gentlemen, happy to see he is still working and help truckers and people. God blessed him.🙏

Crazy Dave... He fixed up the Penske truck I was driving about a year ago when it blew a coolant line right there on the fuel island at the Petro Pass there in New Liskeard. Cool stuff! Thanks.
Just last week Dave rescued my son who drives for Titanium. Dave will remember Mike because Mike is probably the biggest guy he's met in a while. He replaced Mike's alternator so he could get some heat back in his cab. Mike had no heat in a Northern Ontario winter, not fun. Dave also found another problem that the dealer caused on a recent service and fixed that too. Thanks for helping my son Dave. He may be a big one but he is still my "little boy" LOL.
Great interview, and nice to see that you are making videos of not just truckers, but the support people around the industry. It shows people that there is more than just the driver that is responsible to get the load to the final destination.

For the record, all Western Star trucks are built at the Portland, Oregon plant or at our plant in Cleveland, N.C. formally known as Freightliner Trucks. Know known as Daimler Trucks of North America. Western Star line was bought by Freightliner in 2002 when we were owned by Daimler Chrysler. I retired from the company in 2013 with 25 years in.
My mentor had a Volvo N12 as a house moving truck in Australia. It spent its life hauling houses all over the countryside. Spent days straight maneuvering houses in the deep mud. It was tough. It lasted as well as anyone's mack or ws.
Not so crazy, just a very capable and confident man. You have all my respect. I'm in a different field but, I enjoy the freedom and ability to make my own decisions...
