These videos always make me cringe. However I'm damn sure no one has ever done such a real world stress test on so many frames. Keep up the awesome work!
Insightful, All the qwads I have and I never ever let any of this happen. I always assume some nabisco stability out of something. This video can actually help someone understand those limits so those like myself can have a little more confidence that risks aren't going to cost them hundreds of dollars just trying to learn. If some Chinese dude ran out of the bushes and was like "You learn to fly, give me $230, now go back to fly." lol that would be reality for many of us. Great testing!
Interesting video for sure. I'm recently getting into FPV having come from the world of R/C airplanes as they were delicately built in the 70's to the late 80's out of balsa wood. Is this type of bashing really what is expected from a quad copter? It seems to me like the qualities for good flight characteristics are counter to extreme durability. comments appreciated...
Welcome to the hobby! You’re right, quadcopter designs don’t really support quality flight, but quads in general are terrible designs anything efficient regardless. Hope you enjoy it and welcome to the channel. Thanks so much!
Bro Love how you take these frames to it limits on the durability test. Bro I can’t wait to send you ours as soon as they are ready for final production and you tell me what you think . Cool ? 👊🏻
Another Awesome video!! 🔥 Never use the plastic standoffs!! I had the whole stack fall out😂 I’m still using them rubber mounted stand offs for the last 5 years. They will were out or start to separate. After a while. I think the grass and plant juices make them weak. I still hard mount the esc with bolts and o rings to keep stack low profile then the rubber standoffs for F/C. I have one rig built with full titanium screws and gummy’s. Dose look nice. I didn’t think it was easier to build. Was actually very frustrating bolts sliding out getting the gummy spacing.
Awe yeah, that was brought up last year when I kicked this off. I have a little history with the S1 and I didn’t consider it a contender. However, one could argue a few on my list are contenders either haha. Thanks so much!!
No sir! Should have the Sync final up soon too. It’s been a long process with the FC stack design. I rode the solid bolt train a long time until it dawned on me how many issues were tied directly to that method. It’s not always an issue which is why I believe so many still run it. Thanks my man!
@@PhantomFPV Makes a lotta sense. So back to the roots, getting some single solo FC softmount screws again for the next one! I did start out building like this, but then the single bolt fashion was there and it got me. I remember some trouble there too.. Wanna crash harder again finally!
I was not to impressed with the aos my first crash with it was through a tree and fell.on concrete and when I went to turtle out it wasn't right so I walked to grab it and 3 of the arms where loose and I check them to make sure all bolts are tight before each session so ya it's real fragile amd what are you talking about with the stack screws im lost on how you like them how do you mounte the stacks? thanks man 👍👍👍
For science! Appreciate you brother. That ping on the pole hit was spicy.
Haha! I’m all about the science. Yeah, it had a really noice ring to it. Thanks a bunch!
да, зазвенело красиво)
The things you do for science!! To boldly make fpv a non affiliate way of life... I dig it!!!
Absolutely! Got to! Thanks so much VinydFPV! Have a good one.

Lol! Means I’m doing it right. Glad you’re enjoying them. It’s necessary for folks to see what the frames limitations are. Thanks so much!
Fantastic testing, Phantom! Thanks!!! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

Pole smash aka The tuning fork!!! 🤣🤣
Haha! 1000%! I laughed pretty hard after that hit. Thanks so much!
The pole ring at 4:08...it rang for a couple seconds, hilarious!
Bing! I knew that smashed an AOS
Haha! 100%! That was a hard hit. Thanks man!

That first crash laugh 😂😂😂 what I've learnt so far is stay away from poles. Brickwalls seems so soft 🤣🤣🤣 #fpvscience

TBS Source One V5 is really popular would love to see a durability test on it!

Appreciate your sacrifice in the name of science ! 😂😂
My pleasure! Thanks so much for the support.
F*ck flying, I’m getting into that RC car racing using a quad. Quality mate 😂
You are a real pilot, not like someone who is a PPT master
pole smash was so satisfying 😹
Haha. Absolutely! Can’t get enough of it. Thanks man!
😄👊I would say it did not pass! Lol! Good info on the FC mounting. I need to do that.

@@PhantomFPV Definitely worth trying! Looking forward to the next victim. Peace brother!!!

Satisfying 👍
Yeah, not a fan of the AOS frames, personally. Bought one, didn't last long, never bought again
Great test man!
wait, is that kiss or betaflight? that skid made it look like betaflight
The skid is 100% Betaflight. I love my KISS gear too much to abuse it in this manor haha. This bird has the Brain Radix 2 HD. Thanks a bunch!
@PhantomFPV figured. That was definitely some angry air mode skids
Best thing is to put air mode on a switch when flying betaflight.
Real world testing!!
Gotta do it for the community! So many options! Thanks brother man. Hope y’all didn’t get too much snow down there.
@@PhantomFPV more snow than this guy wants, and arctic blast as well. Cmon summer 😎

I just built my first 5" with this frame, hope it holds up to my lack of skill 😅
Anti vibration standoffs ALLLLLLL the things !
All them thangs mang!!! Appreciate you big bro! Hope you’re doing well.
This pains my soul 😅 it just hurts watching homie smash the wall 😢😅
I had the same issue.
Steele laughing rn
Hahaha! 100%. You know that’s right. Thanks so much!
Wooow
You gave up too early. A few more hits and I think you would have broken through that wall.
Diiiiiiiing
DONT WATCH CHRIS!!!😅😂
Chris is thinking, how do I put that in my finite elements simulation? 😮
