How do YOU feel about Act III? And if you liked it in the past, has your opinion changed over the years… for better OR worse? Let me know that, and anything else that makes sense, in the comments below.
This is in my top 10 metal albums of all time! I still like them but after Andy left they turned into a more straight forward thrash band. It never gets old for me. Matter of fact Im going to dig the vinyl out and jam it!
Bought this on vinyl when it was released in Germany in 1990 -- still have it and listened to the album while riding on a bus only a couple of days ago. Still a 10/10 for me.
I just received Frolic through The Park original pressing the other day. The Organization's first album was a lot like Act III. As a side note, my school band played Seemingly Endless Time at our talent show. Went over great. Played in a thrash band in my 20s, and covered Discontinued. Great song. Act III has zero fillers. Rob actually sang the majority of Room with a View....just an FYI.
I actually was 50-50 when this came out, but with age have grown to really enjoy this record. Their talent somehow makes it hard to wonder if they over produced the record, but they grew up a lot on this one and it shows. And you’re spot on lol, nothing beats the debut which is fantastic ! Take care, Matt!
Loved it very much back when it came out and still like it very much today. Just recently bought it again on vinyl. Best Death Angel album imho, closely followed by Frolic through the Park.
One of my alltime favorite records...it doesn't get any better than this record. Act III is nothing less than an absolute masterpiece!!! Perfect production, perfect music, perfect musicianship...unfortunately the band mostly only plays the opener live.
I love all Death Angel.. My Favorite album so far is "The Dream Calls For Blood". They should have a new album out this year dispite Mark being the lead singer for Kerry King now.
The Ultra Violence was still their best from the first three albums, but I'll easily take Act 3 over Frolic any day. I love most of the more mature thrash releases from that time. I prefer releases like Persistence of Time to Among the Living and Coma of Souls to Pleasure to Kill.
Rarely play this album mainly preferring the first two. I remember playing it around 6 months ago and enjoying it.Funnily enough i played it again about a week ago and soon got bored with it.
Not my favourite Death Angel album, but it still has some great tracks on it. Although I'm one who likes their later stuff more than most of their early stuff, Ultra-violence is my favourite though! 🤘🏻🤘🏻

Love Act III!! Love Death Angel
I lived off this album 🤘
Discontinued is my favorite song from this album and maybe from the band.
I dont think Ive heard this album. Will give it a listen. The debut is my fave overall.

J'adore cette album ❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💕💕💕💕💕💕
O returned to this recently and couldn't get through all the ba)ads.
This was like listening to myself talking about it. I only differ by liking it Nord that the debut. Even agree on the last two being the best two 🤘
The funk bass on the one track does age the album, who's complaining? Not me. Obviously the Ultra Violence is the must have album.
I love 1st three albums…after it’s ok..

Definitely some good stuff on this record, but I personally can’t stand their style of “gang vocals” was easily the weak point for me.
Would DEF choose act III over seasoning the obese anyday
I personally dont like it. I agree disturbing the peace is a great song
