The thing I liked about Astra was that it actually gave you an ending. Most shows just sort of stop after the climax... this one gave an entire episode of what happened to the characters and how their futures will play out. Pretty much every show could take a queue from this an actually write an ending lol
that's because the other ones most likely promotes their manga/ lightnovel/ visual novel. They can't just adapt the entire thing if it is too long. :/ (they could only if it got popular since budget would exist)

some one said it already, but ill elaborate more. Most anime is just a commericial to sell the source material. Animes that don't have a source material, still often get treated as if they would get another season. I believe even Astra lost in space, was from a LN. It is a stand alone LN IIRC. Those LNs don't have dozens of books, just 1 to a few. Like Akira the movie, if you read the manga, it isn't that much different. It ends, very tidy. I think a lot of people who watch anime, just don't realize how expensive it is to produce 1 episode. It can range from 100k to 1 million per episode. Anime simply can't make that money back, even with advertisements and dvd/blu-ray sells. Anime is almost always an investment that goes on a lost. That is why most end with cliff hangers, so people will go buy from the source, and get involved with the merch. There have been failure animes that basically bankrupted the author or creator. OPM 2nd season was like that. The 1st season was great, but when he launched the manga and merch, it did not sell well enough to cover his loan on the 1st season anime. He took a massive gamble with a 2nd season. Lucky for him, OPM manga got picked up by a big publisher.

Fun fact: The thumbnail scene isn't even contained in the video, it's just clickbait
This was such a good anime, watched it all in one sitting and it was beautiful
among us , but make it anime flavored
The series feels similar to camp Cretaceous but without the plot twist
This anime has the biggest plot twist ever👏👏👏
So the leader never confessed his love to her, feel bad for the girl
They are engaged in the end so it prob is mutual.
Honestly, it seemed fine, and it went for the very basic and "typical" ending.
The premise of it all was kind of intriguing, and the build up to the whole "alternate" world was very interesting.
However, I would have to say that the typical everyone gets a good ending was just... too plain?
Don't get me wrong, it was a good anime, but I just couldn't give it anything above 8/10.
"...gets hit by a massive floating water" 💀
I knew that guy was the traitor… usually the person who is a traitor tries to get closer the whoever has the most power or say and also tries to get everyone to like them… so it was obvious..
Bro I watched this like two years ago and it’s still one of my favorite animes
I love the survival and strategy aspect, but do they always mix extreme drama into the mix? If you research how to make shows, they always say "drama sells"
Really enjoyed this anime have just rewatched it for 5th times lowkey great plot
I started to watch this but it was annoying to me that teens and pre-teens were smart enough to avoid real danger. I can't decide if that or overpowered morons saving the world while nobody else can is at the top of my "don't watch" list.
Mostly all of them are smart one them has 200iq one has a lot of knowledge in biology one has a pictographic memory etc. And the mc has an experience about what will they need to do it situation like that because it already happened to him before and it cost his teachers life. There's a reason while all of them are talented and not just coincidence and its part of the story. So I hope you would give it a 2nd chance bro
Nice vid
Happy endings are pretty dope. I understand why some anime's can't have them, but it's really refreshing to see.
