I see you both wear shorts, how do you guys deal with chafing? I would love to wear shorter shorts but I'm scared that it would hurt too much..
Scott always wear shorts (the kiwi way) so it never seems to bother him. I tend to sweat more, which can lead to chafing, so I wear 2-in-1 style running shorts. They have a longer liner inside. Works great! /Karma
@@RebootLife thanks for the tip! I'm planning to hike for 6 months next year (Appalachian trail if I can get a visa, otherwise all over Europe) and I'm planning to wear shorts as much as possible

Ah the trekking poles. 😜 They are awesome!
It helps distribute the weight, so it makes hiking easier. Also it helps to give you more grip on slippery roads, river crossings, loose rock, and snow crossings! It take a bit of getting used to but it is very helpful!
