Watching the replay. I have that punch, and love it! All of these cards are gorgeous! Thank you for sharing! I always love your videos. You have such a pleasant voice, and you are always so prepared, before you begin your video. Thank you!
Watching replay! These cards are great! To see how you lay out the pieces really helps! Yes, I'm a visual learner too! Thank you for sharing this! Love the cards!
I love these cards! I haven’t really liked the hexagon punch, but seeing these cards makes me think I need that punch. The Christmas papers make such fun cards. Thank you for these ideas.
catching the replay.....this is awesome Patty!!!! What a great idea, especially for scraps!!!! We all have those lying around ;) Such wonderful tips, you are always sharing tips and I truly appreciate every single one of them. Nicely done :D
Patty I’m watching the replay, you nocked it out of the park again…you are a fabulous demonstrator..the talent is astronomical and so much fun to watch…I will be making some of your examples. Thanks Again…
Great video with clear instructions and lots of inspiration! I have done cards with this punch before (and had forgotten what a great way it is to use up scraps or that too busy patterned paper) but had not thought to do the layout on a full piece of cardstock to create for 4 cards at once. Great idea! Thanks once again for your great videos! ❤
If careful in how you punch out the hexagon shape from your patterned paper of choice, the negative of the pattern paper can be used used as the "background" layer on a card and you can paper piece in hexagon shapes to make the same, but different type of card layout. That way even the "throwaway" paper wouldn't be wasted at all. Alternatively, the same idea applies to punching hexagons out of colored card stock and using the negative as the "background" layer and paper piecing in punched hexagons of patterned paper. No more puzzling out how much space to put between each punched hexagon.
What is the sentiment punch you used on the Unbounded Love hexagon card? I know the small one is from Spotlight on Nature. But the one in pink behind it?
THe white starburst die cut is from Round We Go. You can see it in the blog post linked above: pattystamps.com/2024/08/heartfelt-hexagon-punch-cards-video-tutorial.html
Thank you Patty! Did you turn your 8.5 " X 11" Card stock upside down (meaning the hexagons were not facing you) to better see the edges of the CS when you trimed it down to make 4 card fronts?
???what did you use to put the ruler at the top of your trimmer? (It’s yellow), I really need it! Love the cards with the punch! I wondered how to do that! ❤❤
So easily explained by you! Thanks. I have a question regarding the outer designs on the circle die cuts especially the peacock card base card. What do I need to order for that pretty circle pattern? (Regal Winter dsp) - thanks in advance..
That die is in the Spotlight on Nature dies. You can order all the supplies by clicking the link in the description above where it says Shop Stampin UP! supplies online, or by going to the blog posts linked above in the description. The Spotlight on Nature die set is very popular and currently sold out until later this month, but you'll be able to get it soon.
I love this idea! I've been trying to settle on one (or a few) Christmas card designs for this year so this is perfect timing! What is the tag die you used for the sentiment in the Take to the Sky Haopy Birthday card?
They did the same with ‘Stylish Shapes’ in the catalog. The index states it on page 123, but there is no picture of what the shapes are. I looked it up online. I wonder why they did that?
There might have been one before this, I can't remember. But this is the current one: www.stampinup.com/products/heartfelt-hexagon-photopolymer-stamp-set-english?demoid=2274

Go Niners. I grew up in Dublin. I got to perform for the Niners for the half time show back in the olden days. Before Joe Montana. LOL.
Oh my goodness.. so fun!!!!
Absolutely love the design. And as far as the 49ers go, I’ve always felt that since I was born in 49 that I was one of their biggest fans.

sounds amazing!
Patty, watching the replay. I love these cards. How many different DSP pages did you use to punch out Hexagons. I tried to count different patterns.
I punched all the patterns in each pack, and used about 8 on the small cardfront and all of the patterns on the 8-1/2" x 11"

Yes, I actually did... thanks for catching that.. I should have mentioned it!
BTW, you need to move to Western PA, so you can have hockey team Pittsburgh Penguins as your team! lol
I've considered buying a Penguins jersey.. but the San Jose Sharks are my team. :)
???what did you use to put the ruler at the top of your trimmer? (It’s yellow), I really need it! Love the cards with the punch! I wondered how to do that! ❤❤
search amazon for "reverse self adhesive ruler"
Hello Patty - Great idea to use the punch! Thanks for sharing. Have a great weekend Patty. lots of new excited things. 🙏👏👏👏💕🌻

It's actually not a die, it is a printed tag in that package of paper. I just deckled the bottom edge of it with the deckled rectangle dies

Very confusing.. I hope you've given them feedback like I have that it's impossible to find so many of the products!
Is that a stampin up sale. What's the percentage. Is it all on sale (dsp
Yes, a Stampin' Up! Sale.. you can see the details on my blog or newsletter pattystamps.com/2024/08/design-series-paper-sale-starts-today.html

There might have been one before this, I can't remember. But this is the current one: www.stampinup.com/products/heartfelt-hexagon-photopolymer-stamp-set-english?demoid=2274
One was in the 2024 Sale a Bration catalog and the second was in the January - April Mini Catalog.
@@ethelwegner8622 thanks!
have to know if you re making portrait or landscape so pebguin isn't upside down
simply flip the hexagon - it works either way
You mentioned watching a video by Tammy. Tammy who?
I honestly didn't like this yrs annual catalogue. Great idea with the punch.
I'm sorry.. I hope you have let Stampin Up! know your suggestions for improvement.
