@ andrewmyers9982 - If I had to guess, maybe after he made the hard landing on the right landing gear, the recovery would have swung the aircraft left if he had immediately dropped the nose gear? Who knows…

@ mikepietrini6173 - Back in 2005, a few friends and I planned were hiking from Bonfim to Boa Vista in Brazil. It seemed like a great idea the night before, but the next morning, my friends (the "chickens" I was supposed to fly with) thought the pilot looked sketchy, so we never went through with it flying in a pontooned plane. Smh.
yeah it takes skill to land on water.......don't want a sketchy pilot...my uncle had a few hard landing...even lost power and just made the lake........
Wow. I used to wonder what it would be like to be on a plane that lost power. When I was younger, I often thought about dying in a plane crash. Haha. Now that I have little kids, those thoughts have disappeared. Haha.
