For some reason i wasnt aware that the Kul Tirans druid form were not tameable until now. I assumed they were since the Zandalari druid forms were tameable since BFA. Anyway thanks for the guide. Going to catch me a drust cat now.
I wish spirit beasts would still be somewhat transparent, so they look like spirit beasts. Apart from that: those two firery ones look really cool. If the owl really is hidden behind mythic Fyrrak I will be really mad. Bad enough the druid form is bound to the mount drop of mythic Fyrrak! Not everybody is able to do mythic raiding! Thanks for the explanation on the drust pets, I did not know about these. 👍
@@stoll5201 I assume you’re new-ish to hunter. Ok so firstly you need to have beast mastery spec and have the Animal Companion talent. To tame the second one you need to dismiss the first one ofc and make sure you have an empty slot in your pets list (max 5 on you). Then go to the stables and put the second tiger pet into the first slot of the stables. That way whenever you call your first pet, you will also summon the one from the stables. You “dual-wield” pets if that makes sense. Let me know if there’s anything that’s unclear 😊
Amazing guide, drust creatures are my first priority this patch, before completing the questline, it might take time to get the right color unless I am extra lucky today
When going for them first day, make sure nobody is around to mess it up for you. Many players everywhere not knowing what they are doing etc. Would suck to do all this stuff only for another player to kill your creature!

If you have never been to Stormsong Valley you can buy this hearthstone Lucky tortollan charm at the Obsidian Citadel off the NPC Griftah. If you are on an alt that has not unlocked this chapter and are unable to see Griftah, move to 25.09, 56.50 where you will find Kalendormu. This dragon will help you skip the entire chapter to unlock the Obsidian Citadel and see Griftah in his rightful spot. Zarquali Dreamcrusher Mammoth tames too :)
My biggest pain to tame this xpac is the little orange mouse 🥰 You can only find them during digs with the niffin but they’re not common during the digs in fact I’m on dig 102 and still no (fire)orange mouse and being a gnome hunter I must have ALL the mouse pets!! To find them in your digs you have to burrow underground and pop up at trash piles (on digs that let you) so far I’ve only managed to spawn the purple mice 😭
Oh yeah, Treasurewhiskers! I actually features this Pet in a Video not too long ago :) Did you know you can get into the Dig, check for Treasurewhiskers, then leave and wait for 30 minutes and then try again? It takes 30 minutes for him to despawn. So you don‘t have to do a new Dig every time :)
i remember doing the tracks back in MoP thats how i got Savage and Hexapos only disappointing thing is later on they made the Elite Sabers tameable and they all looked like Savage so sadly i stopped using it hopefully they wont do that with this saber.
I just recently learned about the Tracks from MoP and I absolutely love this way of hiding cool Hunter Pets. Feels so much more like an actual Hunter when you really search for footprints on the ground.

Then Killed a couple fo Dreambears until "Thorn-Laden Heart" dropped, did the Drustvar journey, talky-talky, Return to Emerald Dream, kill-Skin and Tamed me a Bark-Bear! No Problémo! My question is this, can you tame all three of the Barkhide Beasts (Bear, Cat, Stag)??? Already slaughtered several generations-worth of Dreamsabers, but they won't drop the "Thorn-Laden Heart"... @@PeteFoxx just south of the location where you got your Thornbear is a spot with many Dreamsabers. They took me the longest to farm and that spot was pretty good for me :)
I found Henri snufftail the other day but my stable was full, so i tried 5 times to abandon a deer i tamed but it wouldnt let me. some other hunter came along and tamed him infront of me and right after he tamed him the deer finally went away lol kinda lame.
Can someone give me a recommendation for Hunter Race, specifically horde? It is mostly in terms of aesthetic and regarding the new tier set as well. I do have a Voidelf and I find her (and belfs) to be almost too skinny for this and some other sets (while I dont like their male version too much), yet something like Tauren is too big for my liking in terms of the agile hunter class fantasy. Appreciate any feedback a lot!
I think especially with the Big Shoulders of the new Set some Bulkier Race like Tauren are fitting pretty well. But I agree they dont seem too agile, do I would go with an Orc or Mag‘har :)

As much as I like the dark ranger thems that work great on bloodelf, I already have a bloodelf paly and rogue and I just want something different for hunter. I also considered nightborne but lore wise I just can't see them as hunters. Thanks for your feedback man!
Might I suggest troll, they crouch and shoot the bow side ways and it looks incredibly badass. Also there’s cool art in the old books of troll hunters for inspiration. The trolls are wild, guerilla-warfare style combatants who have mastered the art of stealth. A race capable of earning the respect of and taming a dinosaur makes a fitting Hunter. Plus in lore they have Headhunters and Shadow Hunters. A very hunt loving people.
Not sure, but good possible. I watched my girlfriend tame Sul‘raka and I couldn‘t see the beast on my warrior, so it‘s very well possible they implemented something like that.
@@Atljeepboy Hunters can have 5 with him and swap them around, and up to 200 stored in the Stable. With a Glyph and the Dire Beast Ability Beast Mastery Hunters can summon random Pets from the Stable for a short time, which is a great addition, so the tamed pets still have a Purpose even while in the Stable.

Well Petopia is keeping track of every single pet in the game, that doesn‘t mean they are not hidden. The Average Casual Player probably doesn‘t even know a Page like Petopia exists in the first place and to those these Pets are very hidden.
@@GarroshTV its well known within the whole wow community that petopia exists , the site has existed as long as wow has , there are many "casual players"who know it exists and there are very few people who dont know its the place to go for all things hunter . petopia has never been a hidden site
Out of these I wouldn‘t take any. Raptors are good, with ther Rend Ability, which decreases heals by 50%. In Arena you also should have 1 normal Raptor and 1 Undead Raptor, so you can switch them depending on your enemy comp. Undead Raptors can‘t be polymorphed, hexed or Feared by Hunters, but they can be shackled by priests and stunned with Retri Paladins Ash Wave. Living Raptors are immune to those 2 abilities but not to Polymorph, Hex or Hunters Fear.

I tamed 2x Sul'raka within 5-ish minutes. After you get the first one, wait at the spawn location at 63.60 68.90

I was only able to exchange one Thorn-Laden Heart with Athainne. After I exchanged one, she wouldn't offer me the dialog option again.

You don‘t have to do any of the quests in the Zone in preperation.

She usually shows up at 7 pm but only stays up for a hour or so. That's west coast time

Hunters should be able to hide in bushes and stalk animals 😏 belves and velves are quite the fit. How can you hide a tauren? 😅😅

My two hunters are a dark iron female and troll male, those are my personal recommendations
