Remembering Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan - Ghazal Asr Us Ko Zara Nahi Hota - Momin

In respect of the passing away of the legendary Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan (1931-2021), sharing a ghazal of poet Momin Khan Momin 'Asr Us Ko Zara Nahi Hota', which showcases Ghulam Mustafa Khansaheb's prowess over the ghazal genre. Tabla Ustad Sharif Ahmed and sarangi Ustad Sabri Khan.
Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan was one of the most iconic classical vocalists of South Asia. Hailing from the Rampur Sahaswan Gharana, he received his initial training from his father, Ustad Waris Hussain Khan, then later had the honour of training under Ustad Fida Hussain and Padma Bhushan Ustad Nisar Hussain Khansaheb. Mustafa Khansaheb achieved International acclaim at a young age, performing internationally on a regular basis and was also the recipient of the prestigious Padma Vibhushan award from the Goverment of India. Khansaheb leaves behind his legacy in the capable hands of his family and disciples Nadeem Khan, Sonu Nigam, Hariharan and Shaan.
