Overthinking It subjects the popular culture to a level of scrutiny it probably doesn't deserve.
www.overthinkin...
i was genuinely excited because I love that song and the band 😭
Same. It was good, though.
In my top 5 Eurovision songs. Delighted with the gag, but similarly disappointed. 😢😂
in my top 5 esc songs of all time, i really wanted a video on it
Using Georgia 2016 entry for a silly April Fools day video? Je telephone à la police.
Why are you using that masterpiece as an april fools joke? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Noooooo I got so excited to see a full breakdown of that song, it’s one of my favourite esc songs :’(
the masterful nika kocharov doesn't deserve this... the next look back better actually be about midnight gold!!
Midnight Gold is actually one of my favorite ESC songs ever. In fact, this entry inspired me to discover indie music. I barely listened to something like this before ESC 2016, and after hearing Midnight Gold and other YGL songs, I fell in love with this genre. It's pretty funny how a ESC entry that struggled to get through the semi inspired me to discover such classics as Joy Division, Foals, Radiohead, Slowdive and others. And, in fact, Midnight Gold is one of it's kind. Eurovision never seen something like this before and after. There were some indie songs later, like The Roop's 2020-2021 entries, but they're nothing close to pure British indie with shoegaze and post-punk influence, somehow sent by Georgia... Wish UK send something like this one day.
BTW, Nika also participated in 2022 with Circus Mircus, another great indie band from Georgia. They're pretty different from YGL, but they are even more underrated and also worth to check them up.
I didn’t know Nika was in Circus Mircus! That’s fantastic. 🇬🇪
ohh that explains why I also liked circus mircus
thats explains how circus mirucs was also in my top 5 in its respective year (midinght gold even was my winner)
happy april fool's day!?!
lmaooooo love that, they could never take my midnight gold away from me though 🙏
Wish you would do a real video on this song.
Ok, this was a funny April fools joke.
That was hilarious
😂😂😂 thank you guys for this comic relief
of course its april fools, this video should've not released on a Monday, and I still watched it thinking it was an actual video
Best analysis you've ever made. Will be a hard one to top

Well played, gentlemen XD Happy April Fool's!
it is awful.
would like to actually watch an episode about this song. my 2016 winner
Happy April Fools. Though we ALL want a Georgia 2016 review. Was actually the UK's 12 that year lol
"I'm not going to explain to a family court judge what Eurovision is" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 No, but seriously, this was one of my favorite songs of 2016 and I was delighted that it qualified.
lol, just lol. You are so correct though. April fools.
ok but this is one of my favourite ever entries. please do an actual video on it
Today isn't Thursday...
