Always love a new video from the Pugh Two! Your friends should have told you about the re-booking of their hotel when they did it so you could have saved money too. But a great tip! You're definitely right that IOA = rides and USF = vibes (though USF has great rides too). The Sing It part 🤣 My favorite easter egg is when you're taking the Hogwarts Express from London (USF) to Hogwarts (IOA) you ask the cast member out front how to find platform 9 3/4. Their muggle reactions are funny

I went for the first time ever to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. And as someone that isn't really into rides, I LOVED IT!!! If I lived closer I'd totally be an annual passholder just so I could go and visit the Wizarding World whenever I felt like it. Not only that the overall atmosphere of both parks was amazing for someone like me that just likes to chill and sit. I can't wait to go back for another visit! Next time Imma plan to stay longer than two days.
Yes, absolutely!! My mom isn’t a big ride person and she still loves the park. They’re worth going just to see all the cool theming and fun stuff!
The caves in camp Jurassic was one of the core memories my husband and I made on our trip. We went there at night and not that many people were in it. We played hide and seek and tag and were laughing up a storm. It was SO much fun.

Great video. Our first green eggs and ham tots was just that, the green eggs and ham. We loved them. I want more! I also agree with you Tyler about the caves. They were awesome. I did a good bit of videoing in them last summer.

@@ThePughTwo Yeah we never got to see it either, we never got to experience any of the classic rides either, except E.T. Since they were all gone before we made our first visit, which is a bummer. I love Jaws especially.
For IOA, you go counterclockwise, unless it's 4 pm and you have that express after 4 perk, then you go clockwise to start with the Hulk
I was trying to think of how I’d spell the sound that the hulk makes every time it launches, but i don’t think there’s a spelling for that lol
I've been to UO multiple times and somehow I didn't know you could get the water cup from the snack stands. That's going to help with hydration!! Woo!

Totally agree with you Anna. I hear lots of people say IOA is the better park but I love Universal Studios. I find myself spending more time there. I love Diagon Alley. It's one of the main reasons I love Universal Studios.

After a year a of watching the Pugh Two explore the parks we finally made our way to Universal last week. The advice you had given regarding the benefits of the Premier resorts proved to be 100% correct. I hadn't realised how much money (and convenience) the Premier saved, as I'm pretty much the friendly grinch. Thanks a bunch for the effort you both put into these videos.

Was there this past week and found the caves on accident for the first time. Been there hundreds of times and never knew they were there. So beautiful!

I think seeing this video will create the need for a round 2 because watching it will cause questions to dawn on people. For me I thought of you guys see SO MUCH merch. What is your favorite thing that was totally worth buying? Who are the rarest characters to see and is there a best time/place to catch them? And I think a day in CityWalk video would be great to see. You guys are passholders, but most people come with tickets and spend arrival and/or departure day there so show off the putt putt, the escape room, things to see like the berlin wall and that the area around hard Rock is actually a guitar..
We have a CityWalk video on the list for the first part of this year! It’s hard to film there because of the copyright music, but we agree it needs to be covered!!
Go on Fast and Furious close to park close. The pre-show actors get sassy and I love it! Also during Christmas I noticed that 12 Grimmuald Place was not decorated, but the ones around it were

You guys are amazing. I just double checked the rates before our travel. I found rooms that weren't available when we made our initial reservation and got a much better club level suite for about the same price as our double queen room. The free breakfast is probably going to save us more money than the price difference. Thank you for the tips.

Oh that’s so exciting!! Our advice for booking at sapphire would be to go ahead and book the hotel now! Then if OI rates are cheaper, you can call and cancel your room up to 5 days before your stay so there’s no real risk with it.

When i went to universal for the firt time i watched a lot of yalls videos it was so fun and i somehow couldnt find my way to the water rides in islands of adventure but next time i go ill find my way it would be helpful if yall made a video about how to get to different places in the parks and im definitely staying more than 4 days next time i love you pugh two ❤

Omg thank you!! I found it at Burlington’s for like $20 and I’m obsessed lol. This was probably the one day all year I’ll be able to wear it in Orlando 😂 bring layers! The sun and the wind have so much to do with what it feels like outside. 55, sunny, and no wind feels way better than a cloudy 65 day with 20mph winds. It’s 46 right now but it’s gonna be 70 tomorrow and 75 Friday lol

Loved this vid! I am not sure if you did a vid on this topic- but my hubby and I went on the Minion Blaster attraction for the very first time and had absolutely NO IDEA what to really do and we thought we won't do that again as it wasn't really fun for us inexperienced . Can you do an "instructional " video or list the video if you guys have already made one? Blessings!
We haven’t made one, mostly because we can’t film on the ride. It’s hard to explain things without a visual. We definitely don’t know all the tricks for that ride either!

When we ate breakfast at Today cafe, the pastries were dry and gross. So we were not impressed. For lunch I’d definitely get crepes from NY. Hands down the best.

If you don't want to ride some of the more motion sickness rides like Forbidden Journey, can you go through the queue and skip the ride in the end?
You can! Just tell them you’re gonna do rider swap and you can wait in the little room designated mostly for kids, but it’s usually convenient to the exit!

We see a lot of people wearing crocks, but we personally prefer good tennis shoes! I wouldn’t do it before walking 10-15k steps in the in one day as a test run lol

I eat overnight oats and a hard boiled egg almost every day on vacation for breakfast. Now I know I can get overnight oats at Today Cafe.
I actually don’t think I ever been there. At Universal I have mostly only had English Breakfast.
Definitely easy to choose that over overnight oats 😂.

Shame Universal doesn't let you know when there is a price drop on hotels, I do check often but IME the prices usually don't change during events, however they will change in regular and off season times. Thanks for answering a ton of burning questions. The new Minion Cafe is quickly becoming a favorite spot to grab a quick meal as it's rarely crowded even on the busiest of days and you just order from your table and food is quickly delivered. Crazy amount of seating also which during peak periods isn't always easy to find spots at other places.
The operations at minion cafe are amazing! We’ve never waited more than like 10-15 minutes for food. And yeah, it’s definitely not a guarantee the hotel rates are gonna drop but it’s worth checking!

I'm 44, haven't been down there since I was 15.. about to take a 2 day in early March with my 9 year old boy, 20 year old daughter, we've got 1 day of Disney (I know not enough 😔).. And can get 1 day of one of the other, which do you recommend and why? Universal? Island? Or the volcano bay? Or is epcot worth considering?
Oh that’s so fun! That’s really just a personal choice based on what y’all are most interested in doing, you can’t really go wrong with any of them!
I went last August to universal studios and we went on fast and furious, and it broke down before we even got past the party scene. Then they had to escort us out. I wanted to go on the worst ride, but every time I went there It was broken down. Lol

Is it worth getting an annual pass if you don't live close? I know the prices of the pass went up and its a 3 hour flight down there.
It depends how many days you’re planning on visiting! For us it was, but you just have to do the math vs single day tickets to see if it’s worth it for you.
Fast and Furious: We avoided it for so long because of its reputation. We finally rode it and at the end we just looked at each other and started laughing and saying how awful it was. 😂 It is truly terrible

I also got tired of fast and the furious but to be fair I was there for hhn, and waits for rides were so low that I rode everything at least 4 times minus velocicoaster and hagrids

Ngl i prefer going clockwise at Island's of adventure cuz i like to do the incredible hulk or dr doom first thing so i can wake up early in the morning

Are the crowds busy end of may or moderate. All the different forecast predictions are conflicting.
So the very end of May you have Memorial Day, so that weekend and that Monday will be relatively busy, but aside from that May is usually a great time to visit!

No you get the 15 months for the price of 12! Restrictions are probably things like blockout dates for certain passes and things like that. You could call and ask if you have questions!

I have a crazy question that may not have an easy answer but my son loves pumpkin juice - but he has Type 1 Diabetes so I try to limit soda/sweet drinks. Any way I can determine how many carbs are in this Pumpkin Fizz so he can enjoy some on our next trip?? Also - hope we get to meet you both one day! 😍

I have a question about the Hogwarts Castle night time light show. When will it return in 2024 and what will the new “refurbishments” look like? We are planning a trip to Universal Studios Florida July 30 - August 2 and I’d like to know what to expect out of a summer time castle light show.
We’re not sure! Universal hasn’t made any announcements, so we’re in the dark until they do. We’re hoping it comes back soon though!
