I bought this, so excited, one Lightning cable plus the adapter to charge my iPhone and my iPad Pro. Didn't work. I turned myself inside out trying then threw it in the bin.
You need lightning to usbc otg connector!it’s a little lightning adapter on at one end and usbc at the other small but it needs to be OTG to work with iPad or phone for data!
I have a lightning to usb and usb c and it works on my IPhone 11 to charge my AirPods. BTW they are Airpods not aiirpods pro. I would like to show you but I don't know how to add a picture to comments.
Similar problem with the AirPod Max you can't use an Auxiliary cable to listen to the headphone with a wired configuration. The auxiliary cable can only go one direction. You're forced to buy $35 cable from Apple.
I thought this adapter could be used for headphones as well, but I was wrong. Had to return two models twice... smh

lightening not charge reverse...u must have type c port like ipad to charge reverse

this is not a sync or connect cable, you will need specific connector lightning to usb-c with audio capabilities.

You don't know whats de difference betwene usbc and lightning. Lightning doesn't have the same features as usbc.
