Ah c'est génial de le voir et de l'entendre ! Et c'est fou, dès que j'entends la 1ere phrase " Every night i'm there " une foule de souvenirs de jeunesse me reviennent immédiatement, avec la chair de poule qui va avec... Reposez en paix Barry Ryan.🙏
la chair de poule, c'est ça. J'avais complètement oublié cette chanson adorée dans mon adolescence. Je suis tombée dessus il y a quelques jours, un choc ! un tsunami d'émotions et de souvenirs.

Voilà un chanson complètement atypique dans son époque (1968) La voix de Barry Ryan n'a rien perdu de sa puissance et de sa clarté ce qui est loin d'être le cas de celle de tous les chanteurs des années 60. L'orchestration est sublime, la section de cuivres remarquable

Great classic song of the sixties. It's always great to see us Brits rocking foreign audiences. God bless Barry, still has a wonderful voice. I believe his brother Paul died young, which is a real tragedy, cos he could sing like a bird too.

Barry, you're a perfect example of a man aging gracefully and even increasing your sex appeal with age! One of the best and most underappreciated songs ever.
Mesmerising. Nice to see an actual live version. Barry and Paul should have been shown a bit more appreciation and respect over the years, having created some classic masterpieces, Barry singing and Paul, behind the scenes, composing and producing. A full concert recreating those powerful arrangements and vocals from their couple of albums collaborations would have been spectacular...why did it never happen?

Takes me back to when I was 15. Happy carefree days. We’d sing this song all the time whilst walking home in the dark , really loud , especially when we took a short cut through the woods. I just SO enjoyed this.....it brought it all back.....I was a kid again! Thank you Barry, and a HUGE thank-you to the French TV station that brought us this Ageless Golden Classic. The audience absolutely loved it...&....I loved every second....His obvious pleasure at the reception he received is so beautifully obvious....(I reckon the drummer enjoyed himself too!) Did more for Anglo French relations in a few minutes than 27 years of "Concorde"!
