Finally getting to this. Nice room 🤠 that bass was intense of what I heard. I agree my 3rd Man copy is noisy as hell. Thanks for the detailed showcase and description. I wish the 3M was better pressed. ✌🏻
Hi Arnaldo, well done review! Im a detail guy to a fault when it comes to what I enjoy described in a review so I appreciate the extra effort in going into each instrument etc. Looks like next big purchase will be this baby. And what a fantastic looking box. I give Chad a hard time half jokingly at times but props to him for apparently giving this classic album of my youth a strong reissue in packaging and sound!

@@fidelios_frequency it really is next level, probably the UHQR is 75-75% of the tape, in terms of very basic comparison, but on both, they did a great job of preserving the “gritty, garage” feel of the album but elevating it to an audiophile level without losing that character. All credit to Chad and especially Jack White, who insisted on using Tape throught the recording, even on the multis! Thanks again for the review,

Thanks for the nice review. I think I'll skip that UHQR edition and look for the original. In fact, I don't know if I've ever been 100% satisfied with UHQR releases? In any case, I'm not sure that I like the releases that are BG mastered, because they sound soft and boring to me.👍

Well coordinated T-shirt, good unboxing, I agree with the comparison, spot on, except the sibilance, it didn’t show on my system. The clarity, imaging, and feel for drums incredible. Great video!
Which pressing do you have? It’s possible that you have a different cut that doesn’t show sibilance.
That last 20% though… I have other WS albums that sound really good. But this UHQR has to be the best “modern” rock vinyl I own. That 20% is what makes you say woah and blows your hair back.
