Just a tip.... If you put boiling water in your thermos for about 15 minutes, dry it with towel and then put food in everything will stay hot longer. I let it set while I cook up the food I’m putting in it. It really does make a difference

I feel like there is a bit of an unspoken rule when it comes to children and eating. Aslong as they are not complaining they are still hungry or leaving a lot of the food behind, it’s the perfect amount for them.

So you cut up as many apples as you want, then put them in a bowl of cold water with salt. let the apples sit in the salt water for an hour to two hours then you rense thoroughly to get all the salt off them.. then you can store them in your fridge already cut for at last 5 days. And no they do not taste like salt.. Also you can do honey and water and soak the apples like you do with the lemon and water..

There is always some veggies and healthy stuff but yet something kinda for a treat. I promise my adult self I’m keeping my kids healthy with at least 2 or less veggies in their lunch. Oatmeal with fruit/yogurt/or honey on the side could be good as well!
I've done overnight oats in my kids thermos with berries and yoghurt and it works really well for a hot day lunch

I think they last longer when they have tissue paper on them or a kind of paper box... Plastic doesn't work at all
Thermos isn’t plastic. I’ve tried many ways. Paper napkin and tinfoil pouch works but still a little soggy.

Maybe try a small piece of drier bread to soak up the moisture.
