Hey Morton,
great video - here is a hint for your M4 16 drives problem: IBM 46M0997 ServeRAID Expansion Adapter 16-Port SAS Expander - if I understand the IBM info right, you need this expansion and only ONE M5015 (because it can handle up to 32 drives) - check it out.

I think i would have cut that excess tin off the end of the card, so it fitted in the plastic slot.
The tin wasnt doing anything very usefull.

Leonardo Santos I saw one guy on UA-cam install a graphics card externally on a Dell R710. He put an pci express extension cable on the riser card to connect the GPU housed in an external PC case, with its own power supply to power the graphics card. It worked!

Some blade servers has an extra module you, "sandwich" on that will give you PCI-e ports, but not that common.

I actually was hoping you did say something about "normal" risers as in those 1x-16x adapters, molex additions (which let you plug 75W GPU into 25W slot) etc., but ohwell, maybe you can do those some other time :) . Good video as always and I'm surprised that M4 has PCIX adapter.

Thank You very much! You can plug in a GPU in the 25W slots,, but you might run in to problems when you try to stress your GPU,, I might run out of power,, and might not be good for the system board.
