The Mayor's Hour Tampa Fire Rescue Hazardous Materials Response Team

This month Mayor Bob Buckhorn trades his suit and tie for bunker gear and a HazMat suit at Tampa Fire Rescue's Training Division. In an intense training scenario, the crew responds to a large fire on an overturned tanker which is leaking a potentially hazardous green liquid foam. Co-host Jack Harris of 970 WFLA provides play by play. Guests include Chief of Rescue and Special Operations Bryan Riley, Fire Training Chief Jason Dougherty, District Fire Chief Troy Jones and the dedicated crew of Station 6, home of Tampa Fire Rescue's Hazardous Incident Team and the HIT 6 Truck. Replays Sundays at 1pm, Mondays at 7pm, Tuesdays at noon, Wednesdays at 9pm, Fridays at 3pm and Saturdays at noon.
