Very beautiful- so good to hear the sax played in the lower register so clean and for the average music lover of jazz how they think of it as an instrument that they identify with.
Excellent, love your backing track also love the player, looks so easy for you. Backing tracks are made with professional musicians not MIDI. I wonder if my budget can absorb the extra however, I can see that practice gets more interesting with all your programs. Attention à ta santé, j'espère qu'il fait beau à Nice!!! Hey Jay. I purchased the entire set, and have to say how impressive this resource is. Thanks for putting it together. Have you thought about adding a stem of you soloing on each tune too? That would be so useful in a DAW: to set up trading fours, transcription, solo analysis, tone/sound comparison. Etc.
The best version I've heard of this song was played on the show "Criminal Minds" on Soprano. I have no Idea who played it. No offence but I'm not diggin that set up. PLay it again on your vintage Selmer and ottolink
It's always so nice to see the emotion in a musicians face when they're playing their instrument.
Oh man,it kills me. In my DREAMS I play that good. That's the thing about a classic...it never dies.
Those low notes! So gentle and warm. Sigh. The tone just wraps around like a warm embrace💕
It amazes me how you can play at such a low tempo yet never let the piece drag in any way - you are an incredible player, sir!
Thank you very much!

Beautiful work on the Ellington/Coltrane favorite. Enjoying the rich tenor on that piece.
A wonderful rendition.......it evokes a warm and pleasant feeling. I love it.
Very warm breathy sound.... liking those long notes with vibrato at the end.
Thanks!
Sorprised at all, beautiful, super good taste, thank you very much Jay!!! 👏👏👏👏👏

Nice. Your solo does this old classic justice. (As far as the piano --- Duke Ellington's playing on the Coltrane/Ellington album is unequaled.)
I thoroughly enjoyed this... thank you, Sir.
Thank You!
Nicely done Jay.. very inspirational.
Thank you
Do you have an album out? You should. So beautiful.

Interesting idea. Thanks.
Any chance you could add the stems for the solos you've done so far to the download page? Would be an appreciated addition.

......Jay uses the same Michael Brecker' s habit......to turn the head
to the right....between breathings.....
So what does turning the head do?
@@ekaufman4800 Ask Jay.....
You’re sound is so weird, don’t use that mouthpiece
