Hi Gary, Love what you and Hank are wearing. The scarf is beautiful. All your makes are great! I love the colors you choose for your Crystal's make along.
I've said it before...you are a master at your craft ❤ since I don't knit 😢 I especially love watching the progress on your knitted projects 🎉 ❤ and the Noelle shawl using the Stenli tweed is gorgeous 🥰 💯🎇🤟🤗
I'm really excited every time I pick up the Novella project to see where the pattern will take me. Thank you for your kind words and I'm very humbled by your compliment!
Gary, I love the yarn your using on your hoodie but that Celtic design is my jam and I'm going to put that on my to do list for sure. Love love love it.
Hi Gary. Great makes what you and Hank are wearing. Your co-workers scarf was very nice. The mood board bas great sorbet colors. The Stenli cake shawl looks like a work of art. I always crochet on the plane and everywhere else.😊
Hello Gary 👋🏼 Wowzers! Crystals scarfis looking fabulous!! Oohhhh, Zee's Birthday colorway fits perfectly in that scarf. You have such great color choices 💖 Beautiful Hexi's.. oohhh, can't wait to see your design for the hooded vest. Such beautiful projects.. love you friend 🥰
Hi 👋🏻... Gary, the scarft that you crochet with the #crochetricestitch for your coworker is absolutely beautiful. Can you tell me how many yarn skeins you used and the measurements of the lenth ________ and the width, _______, 🙏🏻 PLEASE ❓️❓️❓️ I found the yarn at Michaels in white with specks in black, I would like to recreate it, and I'll be adding/attaching ❄️ #crochetsnowflakes ❄️ throughout the scarf. Thank you very much for the inspiration.❣️
Even though I come here for the yarnie goodness, your intro and outro video snippets are so enjoyable. 😍 That Sea Calm Glory scarf is screaming at me. I think that I have now found a project idea for some yarn that I have on hand - thank you! ❤ Your MAL shawl looks almost edible. The colour scheme is working together nicely. Thanks for sharing. 💖
Hi Gary! I always enjoy seeing what you are up to and your finished projects! The scarf for your coworker came out beautifully. I love your creativity and how you seem to carefully pick out the perfect pattern to go with the yarn you are using. Or should I say it the other way around. 😂 The scarf on Hank is gorgeous. I have seen several videos on this technique and am eager to try it out. Although I have a few WIP's 😂 ok maybe many that I need to tend to first. I also love the shawl you're making for your mood board the colors are so fun! As always, thanks for sharing! 🤗💛
Gary you do such beautiful, beautiful work. Your sense of color and style is unmatched. It just makes me smile from ear to ear when you share them with us.
Hi Gary, I Love, love, love ALL your FOs and WIPs. You’re such a creative, artistic knitter/crocheter. There’s such a variety of makes…each one is unique. Thank you for sharing.🥰
Ooh, my favorite scarf on Hank. The pattern would make an amazing blanket too. I like to bring socks while traveling especially when I'm at the leg or foot arra with lots of stockinette. Washcloths are my go-to travel crochet projects.
When I looked at the scarf you made for your friend, I was reminded of a bird’s foot. So for me it’s the “Bird’s Foot Scarf”! I finished my project for the mood board but I haven’t made the mood board yet! That last off-white triangular shawl is absolutely outstanding. I love it!!❤❤❤
You never cease to amaze me with your talent, artistry, and your breathtaking choices of color and pattern design! ThankYOU for sharing..👏👏👏👏👏👏👎👎😍😍😍 Ps; ty for the travel project tip! I will be away to Florida at the end of this month and was wondering what I could take with me that did require a big bunch of yarn…SQUARES ..perfect..👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you for talking about what to crochet on a trip. I realized I have some squares for a blanket I need to finish and it will be perfect. Your mood shawl is gorgeous so far. Can’t wait to see the finished piece.
Hello Carolyn. I'm almost done with the Mood Board MAL shawl. I'll be playing yarn chicken to get to the end, with a few extra colours waiting in the wings in case I run out.
The moss on the trees was stunning! I learned a little short row crochet so I think I'm ready to buy the Sea Calm pattern. The clover shawl is lovely and it looks light and airy. Oh my, the gift to the co-worker is drapey and so stunning! Your openness to explore possibilities is so refreshing. You have inspired me to pair yarns that may not belong together, and it's so fun! Your cable sweater has a huge "wow!" factor. Wow, I can't wait to see it finished. I don't knit so I love to see excellent knitting.
Thank you Cynthia for your comment. I know you'll love the Sea Calm Scarf (short rows) in crochet. I'm super excited to start my second one next month!
Gary, if I was to receive a beautiful scarf like that scarf done with the rice stitch, I would wear it over my head to scarf. That way up in Canada I could keep warm and toasty. Love it! ❤
Hello Alison - the short row crochet is something new to me too. I had a bit of a curve ball with learning it, still am needing a few more goes to really cement what I'm doing.
Hi Gary, I really like all the projects you're working on. The way you pick up colours for your projects is amazing.I consider myself very good with mixing colours but when I see what you mix together it always surprise me how good you are at getting that artistic look at the end. I really find you inspiring and I learned quite a bit from you since I started following you I really love the calm sea scarf and how the yarn worked up so well with the pattern.and i also love the novelty shawl ,it's so beautiful.
I am so far behind what I am making for another project. From being sick for 2 weeks and now have two places on my face that I will need surgery to remove at 2 different times. They burned both and I can't keep my glasses on so I can't see to work on it. I work until the pain is so bad I have to take my glasses off. That is with just having them burned off. No telling what it will feel like after surgery. I love the gray novela pattern you're working on oh my gosh that is gorgeous. These stitches are fabulous.
Beautiful makes Gary. Sandra Paul, the designer of your Nature's Walk blanket, has quite a few designs with little hexagons. She has some good youtube videos too when you are looking for something to watch while you work. 😊
Thank you for the tip on Sandra Paul's videos - I will make a note of it for when I'm in the yarn room next and need to watch something while stitch away!
Hi Gary! As always I love all your makes…absolutely beautiful! You are such a joy to watch🥰Take care…until next time☺️ P.S. I just realized while watching this video that I didn’t do the mood board correctly😳😔🤦🏼♀️
Your shawl is fire and the colors really threw me off, not my palette but I love it so much! Your Aran color shawl is gorgeous, it is so classic and stunning.
Shlanket may be my new favorite word. Trips seem to have come up a lot lately, but for me it depends on where, how long and who with. Short trips of a week of less on my own I tend to take a small project for when I'm ambling between historical sites, and that I can pop in my back pack in the sites, and a larger project that I can do in the hotel, neither of which require too much brain ability. Longer trips (2 weeks summer holiday) we go with my parents, so I take my knitting as I have my mum on hand to help when the inevitable huge mistake happens
All of your projects are beautiful. Your color combinations I would never consider using, yet you make them look fabulous! Would you be able to do a quick tutorial on how you added the red to your co workers scarf? That extra touch just made the whole scarf pop!
I can most certainly do that small tutorial next time I'm working with the rice stitch. It may not be any time soon, but I've written a note in my Yarn Journal to remind myself.
Why you only have 18K subscribers is beyond me! You are incredible and wonderfully talented. I love your videos. Thank you Gary 🙏

Sandra - sending you healing vibes, well wishes for rapid surgery and quick recovery. There's no fun when pain stop us from doing the things we love.
You are such a joy to watch🥰Take care…until next time☺️
P.S. I just realized while watching this video that I didn’t do the mood board correctly😳😔🤦🏼♀️
We are all good Lori - I love what you've done.
I love the cable vent pattern you are working on. Beautiful cable work. I knitted a blanket with cable panels for my son.
Oh Joanne - your cable knit blanket sounds awesome!
Oh my goodness! Again such beautiful projects! I guess I’m going to have to dive back into Brioche!
Please do - I'd love to see what you make!
Your shawl is fire and the colors really threw me off, not my palette but I love it so much! Your Aran color shawl is gorgeous, it is so classic and stunning.
