There's something hauntingly beautiful about Parker Posey. She's so beautiful in an offbeat way even today at I think 49 years old she has aged like a fine wine. She's gorgeous.
You get to see it really show up (albeit in a weird way), in Blade Trinity. She's so dark, owns the performace and even as one of the most heartless and diabolical cold female vampires ever, she still manages to captivate. That's where I first noticed her and thought "oh, this one is really something, I can't take my eyes off her".
Let’s be real, Parker Posey is funny as hell and is underrated in the larger movies. She kills it in A Mighty Wind and Best in Show. Would love to see her in more stuff.
She was in Superman Returns, lol, Dazed and Confused was when I first saw her, now I'm on a Parker Posey binge watch, and I'm absolutely smitten with her as a guest, an actress, and all around amazing person.
She was in the HBO series The Staircase recently and she has a small but very memorable role in the new Ari Aster film, Beau is Afraid! I agree though. I desperately want there to be a Parker Posey renaissance. Send her to The White Lotus or something!
Half his jokes would get him canceled by Twitter nowadays. Constant double entendres and joking propositions while repeatedly touching them - he’d be on the street after a week.
He had one of the best late night shows. He always makes me laugh. I tried watching his standup routine though, and didn't like it. But as a talk show host, he's great.
No wonder actors liked this show so much, it gave them a chance to come out of their bubble and have some genuine social interaction with a disarming, funny host. The angle to sell their product completely dissapeared to the background.
I think I've watched that bit where they argue about a hundred times, because its just the funniest shit ever. Also, thank you so much for putting these compilations of Craig's best interviewees together!! You are doing the lords work.
That is probably the realest Hollywood type I have ever seen on a talk show. She's quirky, but then so is Craig, and that leads to awesome chemistry! Great upload, JLF!
I saw the movie "Waiting for Guffman" and Parker Posey plays a seriously crazy chick SO FREAKING WELL in that. All this time I thought she was that off her rocker nuts. Apparently, she's just a very good actor.
I think she's my favorite guest, and I've seen a LOT of your vids! I love their chemistry; it's so genuine, and even when they talk about mundane things, it feels interesting because they're both so interested in each other. It's strange. Thanks for the uploads!
When I first saw Parker in Party Girl back in the mid 90's I swore I went to school with her since we're exactly the same age and I found out she grew up in Mississippi as well. She looked nearly identical to a girl that was in my Jr. and High School. Of course I dug out my yearbook and nope, not the same person.
Parker is so cute with her adorable giggle & smile. She seems like a genuinely cool & chill gal. But my GAWD does she have a knack for playing characters you just want to BASH with a gaw'damn crowbar! Her Lost in Space Dr Smith is just the worst. It's a testament to her acting abilities, & mastery of becoming a character that needs to be nuked from orbit. 29:06 is freak'n adorable. Dammit she's so cute!
Honestly I would love to see Craig come back to talk show via either BBC or in Canada with CTV or CBC. With that ever-present toothy smile, she always has such a a vaguely 'uneasy' persona about her, and her new role in the "Lost in Space' reboot really captures that scheming kinda 'creepiness'.

She's so easy to listen to and a cool guest. And she's one of my favourite actors. She was chilling in Blade Trinity and that's where I first noticed her. I saw her in the play ‘The 5th of July’. It was good, the theater was a small intimate..off broadway n such...when leaving the theater she was walking down the sidewalk with a friend taking long strides, with a cigarette, and gossiping all the way. Very much a New Yorker...that is all

Bad writing and a great actress. Maybe not bad writing if they're going for irrational and compulsive liar but if not then there's no reason for the character's constant evil doing. I like the show but it suffers from this constant need to make everything go wrong every time and it gets very tiring.
Parker Posey is so smooth and comfortable during the interview and so animated, breath of fresh air. OK
Watching Parker and Craig together is like being in the middle of a wonderful flirty vortex. Love it!

It's that fresh well water she drank when she was a child in Mississippi.
It slows the aging.
