- I woke up early and headed for my favourite roads, which were very wet and slippery = good fun. Chillout and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Suffolk Coast, UK.
It was so windy, flying the drone and getting stable shots was impossible but hey... Can't control the weather 🤷♂️. The car has been fitted with a Dansk sports centre silencer, rear section & Bilstein B6 suspension.
Hope you enjoyed this video and the sound of the Dansk exhaust.

Where did you get the porsche steering wheel cap? I can't seem to find those anywhere. I know its separate from the steering wheel, but I dont know where to get one

What are the maintenance costs like on a 944?
I'm looking at getting one for a fun car but ideally don't want to be paying an arm and a leg to fix things breaking all the time or in expensive ways.
there may be some Porsches for less money, but remember, driving a Porsche will never be cheap
I’ve been watching for a few weeks and every video I’ve seen makes me want one even more. I’ve got a test drive on a dark green 944 turbo later this week. I’ll let u know how it goes, hopefully well!
That's so exciting! A dark green 944 turbo sounds amazing, I'm yet to drive a turbo 944 but hopefully will get a chance one day. I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya, shoot me some pics of the car on Instagram or something if you buy it! 🤞

Nope, I called my good mechanic pal that lives about 20 mins from the dealership and he basically told me that he’s talked to a few people and the cars were lemons. The dealership also stopped responding to my emails when I started asking about a ppi and just a lot of fishy thing going on. I passed on this one but it’s still a poster car for me so definitely one day I’ll own one just being patient until I find a good one😁

I've got the Momo Prototipo Heritage, i bought the Porsche logo horn button as a separate item from Design911. 👍
Amazing video. Best sounding 944. Did you modify to a short shifter? I have an 84 NA and mines a lot sloppier.
Thank you!! As far as I know, the car just has the standard shift linkage however upon inspection it looks like everything is in very good condition which probably explains the nice gearshift. Cheers for watching the video 👍
Thank you for the video! I’m now, as a 56 yr old, searching for the right 944 (in spite of spiking prices). Don’t necessarily need the turbo as I hear they come with a bag of extra maintenance issues. As a kid in 1980’s I certainly remember admiring them. Keep making vids and I’ll watch them.

@@TheOldGuarded Just found your video....sincere compliments on the photography and videography....the placing the 944 in the puddle for the reflections to accent the car during such a dark intro was clever and effective. :) LOVE the exhaust note....but I'm in America...do you know if Dansk exhaust would fit a US spec car? I'll google as well...but sometimes I get much better answers from humans with expertise of course. :)
@@locophoto6881thanks for the kind words! It’s really nice to hear someone enjoys what I do. In terms of the compatibility with US spec cars, I’d imagine that they would be similar configurations. But what I’d do is try to cross reference exhaust part numbers between UK/US vehicles and look for matches to confirm. All the best!
