Oh but if this is gonna be like a secret boss then you need to do something before chapter 3 like getting the flowers from asgore the giving it to toriel on chapter 1 then chapter 2 there will be a floral scent at the trashcan and thats gonna trigger the secret boss for chapter 3 (maybe) It would be cool for something you need to do from chapters from before and then it will carry into later chapters like the box of chalk with noelle

honestly, this is one of the few hypothetical deltarune chapter 3 ideas that i think is *incredibly* likely to actually happen. The flowers in the trash can are definitely going to play a role now the house is a dark world, and they definitely seem like secret boss material, being thrown away in some regard is a consistent theme with the previous two.
i just noticed this, they also might have a similar thing happening that happens with the trousle of bones. in chapter 1, it says you can only hear the distant trousle of bones. and with the flowers, it says a flowery scent is emanating from the trash can. but in chapter 2, it says that the trousle of bones has gotten louder, as if its closer. and for the flowers, the flowery scent in the trash can has grown.

I kinda had an idea of the stairs in kris’ house turning into a train type battle, where you would battle against the conductor, and maybe the passengers joining in so you would have to beat two different enemies with different attacks. Eventually reaching the top of the stairs
The art of the secret boss before their transformation genuinely feels like something akin to spamton or Jevil, good artwork, the actual boss is also just as good
*The flowers are dancing. *The flowers are smiling. *The flowers are going wild. *Vines wrap around every surface. *Petals are everywhere. *The flowers are slowly wilting. *The flowers are cheering. *The flowers want to turn you into fertilizer. *Thorns pierce the air. *Should you photosympathize? I think Rosey would be a princess trapped in a castle filled with old/broken things and "Flowey" would be the dragon protecting the castle. Also I think if Rosey would be the secret boss of Chapter 3 she would probably wilt like Undyne when Undyne was melting when fighting against the "human" in the no mercy route. I love that this could be like a comedic duo, flowey trying to be a bloodthirsty flower, but ends up succumbing to acts due to their inner nature, and rosey being a full-on villain, not being affected by acts, simply wanting to murder *toriel* specifically, as she is the one Who threw her out, filled with rage, ordering flowey to grab ralsei, thinking its toriel
That could be some fun Pre-finale character interaction. Similar to the Spamton encounter in the alley, Rosey could have a few optional battles/an optional challenge besides the boss fight with her and Flowey acting kinda like the chapter’s Berdly.
The Absolute cherry on top about this? the tiny Ralsei in the background, showing us why we can't fight with him. the small details, like the area being ruined, showing that this takes place in the trash can, hence the name "forgotten princess" and the fact that Flowey actually seems hesitant to fight at first are beautiful.
the use of motifs like battle against a true hero and THE WORLD REVOLVING really make this stand out as comparable to jevil and spamton's themes, incredible composition job on the original parts as well!
The arena resembles the ruins, Ralsei is wrapped up in the background, one of the flowers in the foreground look identical to flowey, moreso than the others.
What's interesting to me is not that the arena looks like the ruins, but that the arena is a stage with red curtains around the edges, which fits with the idea that Chapter 3's dark world is going to be Hollywood/Broadway themed with movie stars & play actors. An idea that makes sense given the curtains with figures on the windows in the house, the TV boss, & Mettaton's sidequest.
Idea for the special green soul mechanic-you can charge it to make it stretch. Sometimes a big projectile would come and you need to stretch to make it bounce back.
Personally i would like a parry attack, so you would need to parry large projectiles to deflect them. Exactly like your idea, just different name and execution
I think some orange soul gimmick would be good. The orange soul is known as "Courage". This fight is Kris and Toriel facing a horrible reminder of the past.
Okay, the flowers ASGORE gifted to TORIEL becoming a Flowey-based villain in the living-room Dark World actually makes perfect sense now that I think about it.
Toriel has healing magic (She heals Frisk in Undertale, if you fall for Flowey’s trap of bullets) so it’s possible that she could fill Ralsei’s role of the healer, albeit temporarily. It’s possible she also has healing magic and fire magic in Deltarune.

this does make me think about the flowers we can give to toriel when meeting asgore in ch1. although it is possible to skip said interaction im pretty sure if the flowers made it into the dark world they would probrably be an item atleast or a special unimportant area at most.
So I actually tested to see if the flowers and hot chocolate from Chapter 1 stay in your inventory upon entering Chapter 2. They do not, so unless we're somehow NOT in the Darkworld immediately and have some way to walk around town, I think it will simply regard to the flowers in the trash

Woah! This is one of the only good Deltarune Ch 3 fan songs. It’s new and inventive, while still sounding like Deltarune. Loads of fan songs just mash a bunch of leitmotifs together without any regard for musical aesthetic, but this is really special. Phenomenal job!
OMG, this is a wonderful concept for a secret boss, as if it's like _Undertale_ , but the attack looks a little out of place, although there is logic in it.
Similar to how all mid boss themes were basically Ghost Fight remixes in Undertale, all secret boss themes should have an obligatory THE WORLD REVOLVING motif in Deltarune
there's just a small error in HP because after the pacifist route in chapter 2 our heroes go to level 3 where Kris' HP turns 160 from Susie 190 and ralsei 140 (yes the same as the neutral route or genocide
Glad to know I was not the only one who had the idea of Flowey appearing in Chapter 3. Although, the difference is that I would have seen Flowey as not just one flower, but an entire village of full of other Floweys called: "Flowey Town". The Floweys would have been nice and quite friendly, they're personalities would be also varied for chances of Toby's silliness and diversity. There would even be a Flowey that has a shop where you can buy stuff from him. The theme of the village would be like a redo of Your Best Friend but it has a more happy and jolly tone.
Given the fact of Toriel rejecting Asgore’s flowers, I think the dark world for this chapter will have plant based enemies, like flowers. I also think as we go through the pacifist route, Toriel will start to realise that Asgore isn’t bad after all and start to forgive him. Maybe this chapter will explain what type of argument led to their divorce as well. Also, I love how we use the green soul for this fight, because of the plant based nature, and the way we shield from attacks. Here’s a few ACTS I thought of for the boss in the Pacifist route: Kris only: Sympathise- You console with Rosey. She understands your remorse and sorrow for her. Her attack lowers for this turn. Raises MERCY by 10% Toriel only: Persuade- Toriel tries to reason with Rosey. “I understand your resentment, my child. You have every right to be upset for what I’ve done. ‘’ Rosey starts to shiver slightly. Her defense decreases. Raises MERCY by 5% Susie only: Fertilize- Susie pours soil on Rosey and her flowers. They petals bloom even brighter! ACTS become more effective! All: Embrace (Costs 30 TP)- Everyone gave Rosey a comforting hug. She starts to weep slightly. Restores all health and raises mercy by 15%. I imagine Rosey would be the most passive to Kris, so she won’t attack or hurt them that much. Susie has the same outcome, but she will take more damage. And I’m sure everyone knows how Rosey will react to Toriel.
Like,have toriel with 50% of the chance to recive damage from a attack while Susie and Kris have 25%, and aditionally also have Kris recive 15-25% less damage by default?
ITS THE FLOWERS THAT TORIEL THROWS IN THE TRASH ISNT IT?! In my opinion this is most likely going to be the shadow boss or at least the concept will be. Chapter 3 is probably going to be more features around toriel and her arc so the fact that the flowers that she throws away everyday simply because their from her ex become a secret boss is really interesting to me and i would like to see how that dinamic between toriel and this character would go. Im just interested in seeing more of toriel in general man!!!
My item drop concepts for this: the TornThorn and the RoseRampart TornThorn: When you defeat the duo with violence. Rosey's sword. +9 ATK, Kris. Heals you for 20% of the damage you deal, 30% if you land a critical hit. Susie equip dialogue: "Seems...flowery." Ralsei equip dialogue: "I don't think I can hold this..." Toriel equip dialogue: "A sword? Please, I do not wish for violence." RoseRampart: When you defeat them peacefully. A shield with 6 rainbow petals and a red centre. +7 DEF, +6 magic. Gives +2 DEF and +1 magic for each fallen pary member.
I like the little addition that toriel is the second one in the party instead of the third, because toriel would want to follow behind Kris at all times to make sure that they are safe, like a helicopter parent. Now I can imagine Kris trying to lose toriel to be alone without her for 5 minutes.
THIS IS ACTUALLY SO COOL I'M 100% PERCENT SURE THAT THIS WOULD BE EVEN COOLER IF THAT I DIDENT HAVE TO LOWER THE QUALITY AND THE VOLUME BECAUSE OF BEING AT SCHOOL
Definitely agreeing that the chapter 3 secret boss will be whatever those flowers on the garbage can become in the dark world. But I think the fight will use the purple soul mechanic, with the fun gang trapped in vines throughout the fight. Similar to how Frisk was trapped in spider webs during the Muffet fight. The role of the shadow mantle, though... No idea
One concept I would change about this combo boss would be that the flowers are still the same Flowey creature, but that the princess is a trash creature who perceives Toriel throwing the flowers away as Toriel giving her flowers. Finally she has a fan, at least she thought so.

this does make me think about the flowers we can give to toriel when meeting asgore in ch1.
although it is possible to skip said interaction im pretty sure if the flowers made it into the dark world they would probrably be an item atleast or a special unimportant area at most.
There still are flowers in the trashcan though cuz Asgore wont stop trying to give them to Toriel
Adding the ch1 flowers simply makes them more powerful, the trashcan already smells like flowers.
So I actually tested to see if the flowers and hot chocolate from Chapter 1 stay in your inventory upon entering Chapter 2. They do not, so unless we're somehow NOT in the Darkworld immediately and have some way to walk around town, I think it will simply regard to the flowers in the trash

Woah! This is one of the only good Deltarune Ch 3 fan songs. It’s new and inventive, while still sounding like Deltarune. Loads of fan songs just mash a bunch of leitmotifs together without any regard for musical aesthetic, but this is really special.
Phenomenal job!
OMG, this is a wonderful concept for a secret boss, as if it's like _Undertale_ , but the attack looks a little out of place, although there is logic in it.
Similar to how all mid boss themes were basically Ghost Fight remixes in Undertale, all secret boss themes should have an obligatory THE WORLD REVOLVING motif in Deltarune
there's just a small error in HP because after the pacifist route in chapter 2 our heroes go to level 3 where Kris' HP turns 160 from Susie 190 and ralsei 140 (yes the same as the neutral route or genocide

Glad to know I was not the only one who had the idea of Flowey appearing in Chapter 3. Although, the difference is that I would have seen Flowey as not just one flower, but an entire village of full of other Floweys called: "Flowey Town". The Floweys would have been nice and quite friendly, they're personalities would be also varied for chances of Toby's silliness and diversity. There would even be a Flowey that has a shop where you can buy stuff from him. The theme of the village would be like a redo of Your Best Friend but it has a more happy and jolly tone.

Given the fact of Toriel rejecting Asgore’s flowers, I think the dark world for this chapter will have plant based enemies, like flowers. I also think as we go through the pacifist route, Toriel will start to realise that Asgore isn’t bad after all and start to forgive him. Maybe this chapter will explain what type of argument led to their divorce as well. Also, I love how we use the green soul for this fight, because of the plant based nature, and the way we shield from attacks.
Here’s a few ACTS I thought of for the boss in the Pacifist route:
Kris only: Sympathise- You console with Rosey. She understands your remorse and sorrow for her. Her attack lowers for this turn. Raises MERCY by 10%
Toriel only: Persuade- Toriel tries to reason with Rosey. “I understand your resentment, my child. You have every right to be upset for what I’ve done. ‘’ Rosey starts to shiver slightly. Her defense decreases. Raises MERCY by 5%
Susie only: Fertilize- Susie pours soil on Rosey and her flowers. They petals bloom even brighter! ACTS become more effective!
All: Embrace (Costs 30 TP)- Everyone gave Rosey a comforting hug. She starts to weep slightly. Restores all health and raises mercy by 15%.
I imagine Rosey would be the most passive to Kris, so she won’t attack or hurt them that much. Susie has the same outcome, but she will take more damage. And I’m sure everyone knows how Rosey will react to Toriel.
Like,have toriel with 50% of the chance to recive damage from a attack while Susie and Kris have 25%, and aditionally also have Kris recive 15-25% less damage by default?

In my opinion this is most likely going to be the shadow boss or at least the concept will be. Chapter 3 is probably going to be more features around toriel and her arc so the fact that the flowers that she throws away everyday simply because their from her ex become a secret boss is really interesting to me and i would like to see how that dinamic between toriel and this character would go.
Im just interested in seeing more of toriel in general man!!!
My item drop concepts for this: the TornThorn and the RoseRampart
TornThorn: When you defeat the duo with violence. Rosey's sword. +9 ATK, Kris. Heals you for 20% of the damage you deal, 30% if you land a critical hit. Susie equip dialogue: "Seems...flowery." Ralsei equip dialogue: "I don't think I can hold this..." Toriel equip dialogue: "A sword? Please, I do not wish for violence."
RoseRampart: When you defeat them peacefully. A shield with 6 rainbow petals and a red centre. +7 DEF, +6 magic. Gives +2 DEF and +1 magic for each fallen pary member.
Flowey is holding Ralsei captive, is it a reference to people saying that Ralsei is asriel

I like the little addition that toriel is the second one in the party instead of the third, because toriel would want to follow behind Kris at all times to make sure that they are safe, like a helicopter parent. Now I can imagine Kris trying to lose toriel to be alone without her for 5 minutes.

Definitely agreeing that the chapter 3 secret boss will be whatever those flowers on the garbage can become in the dark world.
But I think the fight will use the purple soul mechanic, with the fun gang trapped in vines throughout the fight. Similar to how Frisk was trapped in spider webs during the Muffet fight.

this is the most original idea that I have ever seen on deltarune, I would like this to be in the final version of chapter 3
One concept I would change about this combo boss would be that the flowers are still the same Flowey creature, but that the princess is a trash creature who perceives Toriel throwing the flowers away as Toriel giving her flowers. Finally she has a fan, at least she thought so.
its a fun way to add flowey back as the flowers tori threw out, but it would be weird as every secret boss has ties to gaster, still fun, and music is great

Rosey and Flowey are now part of my favorite fanmade bosses, which also include Spamton Giga and the fan-made iteration of Mike.
Man this takes me back to Undertale: Red because Rosey's design looks similar. Really nice!
I'd believe the secret boss could be Deltarune's version of Flowey. We know that Toriel threw all of the Flowers she got from Asgore in the trash, so they definitely should be in the Dark World somewhere
