Wow! That was so satisfying to watch 💕
Thank you 🤗 x
I just re-watched this and still enjoyed it. I think this was my gateway "drug" to selling bouquets from my "honesty stand" on our farm road. Thanks from coastal 9B zone where we are 65F most of the year.
Really pleased to hear you enjoyed it again! And that you are now selling too - fantastic news! x
Love this bouquet. I grew Dahlias for the first time this year. Cafe Au Lait being one of them. I'm so excited to see my first blooms. Love everything you do Georgie.
Oh I think you will LOVE them! Enjoy them when they arrive x
This is an amazing bouquet! Your client is going to love 💕 it! Your dahlias are gorgeous!

You make it look so easy that I am encouraged to make bigger bouquets with my dahlias. "Hooking" and "face in"- brilliant!
Go for it x
"The Dahlia won't mind", but it kills me. I so wish I could be there for Dahlia day, I am diffidently not near you as I live in the states. I do appreciate all you share here, I don't instagram, facebook or any other platform, I'm all in with UA-cam.
That arrangement is gorgeous! I can't even imagine the cost of something that size.
a merry fortune x
I cant get enough of your bouquet s

Gorgeous, Georgie !!! Watching from Ontario,Canada
Hello Ontario!
Oh, to have one of your bouquets in my condo in downtown Houston every week!
Ah… I’ve never been to Houston x
Just been very brave and cut some of my dahlias😱 Love watching your videos. I think next year I will grow more flowers less veg. Oh how I wish I still lived in Somerset and could do your workshops in person.
Deff worth growing more flowers - maybe see you in one of my online workshops?
Quel merveilleux bouquet !!!
Bravo à vous !!!
Merci de nous faire une telle démonstration, en nous donnant conseils et astuces,... en nous faisant découvrir de magnifiques fleurs ou de superbes variétés.... Merci++++
A Bientôt,
Cécile de Bordeaux (France)
Merci a vous! Xxx
Beautiful arrangement, I love the dahlias 😍
Thank you! 😊 x
Wow! Amazingly beautiful bouquet Georgie! And such a great demonstration. I made my first hand-tied bouquet yesterday and it turned out great. I used freesias, dutch iris, calendula, tulips, anenome's, and green filler from my spring garden. Of course it's nothing on the scale of yours lol. The recipient of your bouquet is one very lucky person. I'm waiting another week to get my dahlias in because this week we are having a last blast from the Antarctic. Brrr... :)
Great - I’ve been planning spring in the tunnel today x
Loved this
thank you x
Thank you so much for this. Just discovered your channel and of course am subscribing. Sending much appreciation from Elkins, West Virginia USA.

Beautiful!!
Thankyou x
WOW!!!!! Absolutely gorgeous!!!!! I just started watching your videos and am so enjoying them!!! About hooking the Dahlia on the Sedum head..You can't see the Sedum anymore. Is there some sort of floral pick or mechanic you can use instead? I was just curious. I've never seen such a beautiful bouquet....Stunning! NC, USA!!
glad you enjoy xxx
Really helpful video!! I have struggled with the dinner plate and was going to eliminate it from my future plantings, but not anymore!!Thank you so much Georgie!

Good video my dear
Thankyou x
Absolutely stunning arrangement ❤
thank you x
I'd love to see the dahlias and you! But I'm in the United Bluff
Incredibly helpful. I'm growing my own flowers for my August wedding here in Canada, and growing dahlias, cosmos, snapdragons, plus I have a number of roses in my own gardens. This is very helpful to shape my bouquet! Would you do this for table or bouquets for displays on the ground too?
Glad it was helpful! big dinner plate dahlias work well on their own for table displays and in charge arrangements see some of my other large arrangement dahlia clips from last autumn they should help x
❤ GENIUS ❤
Thankyou x
mashallah very nice and beautiful
Ah Thankyou kindly x
Stunning bouquet! Great advice thank you! I don't see a link to buy you a coffee?
The link is in my bio somewhere at the start of my channel xxx Thankyou x
Love all of your bouquets. I grew cafe au lait for the first time last year. All of my blooms were a creamy beige colour I notice yours are more blush pink, I’d love them to be more blush pink. Can I ask what am I doing wrong? ❤
it'll depend slightly on where you got your tubers - dahlias are ruthless reverters to their parents if they can and it's possible that a) cafe au last has a pinker parent (I don't know) and mine are trying to revert and that b) the endless cutting taking and tuber making that they have been through means that wherever you are in the world or whoever you buy from there will be subtle differences in colour along the way x
Thanks for the reply. I may try and purchase from a different retailer then and try again this year 😆 I also want some that you’ve mentioned in your videos like the Bracken Ballerina and Dahlia Evanah, they are just so beautiful. Xx
@@laurencoles6797 good luck! x
I find that dahlia’s don’t keep that well in water. What would you advice? Great tip, the hooking of the dahlia’s!
Cut in cool morning or evening direct into water - good luck x
Wow!
P.S. I have tried several times to find the link. It would be my pleasure to buy you a coffee! I see the descriptions, but no link attached. Any more info on this please?
Added! - I hope anyway x
This is the most useful tip for arranging with dinner plate dahlias! Thank you Georgie as always! I would love to take one of your online workshops. I'm located in the U.S. Would that be a problem?
we have lots of students at our online sessions from all around the world so you'd be very welcome x
Your video title made me giggle "hand toed bouquet" 🤣
Oops!
Some people would wire the dahlia. I wonder if you ever use wire ? I myself prefer the way you did it here.😮❤🎉
I only wire buttonholes - I prefer to keep it all ready for the compost heap x
@@theflowerfarmer I agree. 🤗
Georgie, I'm in the US and I am really wanting some of your UK Dahlia varieties...but I can't find anyone willing to ship them to me. Do you have any ideas how I can get tubers?
I don't think it's allowed xxx
Wow!!!
43 stems? :-O
I’m a great stem counter x
@@theflowerfarmer It’s a stunning arrangement! 💚🌼 I’ll never be able to make one, because I can’t fit so many stems in my tiny hand…
@@louise9833 try making three posies and tying them together x
@@theflowerfarmer Oh! That’s a great idea! Thank you!!🙏😃💚🌱🌼
@@louise9833 my pleasure x
