@@sourire-8922 Really? I thought Heather looked beautiful. She has a little too much filler in her lips, but many actresses do....sadly enough. Her acting seemed good too, considering she was playing an absolute insane-case.
I don't think she imagined the killings, she just got away with it. People, sadly, do sometimes in real life. Such as serial killers. But Laura IS delusional, she is psychotic possibly schizophrenic, as well as having Erotomania, where someone imagines they are in a relationship with someone...when they are not.
I've come to despise most drama / thriller movies: you know how they end 10 - 15 mins in. This movie's plot twists were refreshing and I appreciated not having predictable happy ending you can see coming a mile away 🎉.
So many people did not understand what actually happened in this movie. It was a great classic Lifetime and Heather Locklear movie; true to form on both accounts. Lots of other, recognizable B-grade actors/tresses. Great job by the poster, the sound and upload was good. I love that H. L. still uses her fuzzy camera filter, just like 30 years ago. 👍
I agree. I remember when this film debuted. It was quite different for its time, a real mental 'twister'. It shows Laura (Heather) suffering from Erotomania, a condition not often spoke of....but also schizophrenia & psychosis. I disliked how they ended it in a rather abrupt way, but this was typical of Lifetime films in the '90s. It was meant to show that Laura may well be 'getting her fantasy' after all.
Great movie but infidelity can be fatal most times and usually is the outside person going crazy and ballistic about the married person. In this case she the married woman has her bipolar issues and takes her own revenge to see that those who cross her path are killed. A lesson in life leave married people alone, sometimes even when you move on after the one night stand it is never over.
Laura didn't have bipolar disease. She was psychopathic & delusional. She also had erotomania, where someone imagines they are in a relationship with someone when they are not. To top it off, she was also a malignant-narcissist.....she cared about others only superficially & how they pertain to HER.. Her childhood abuse & also subsequent CHOICE to be a prostitute when she was younger likely destroyed an already-unstable mind.
this came out in 2011, not 2023, I was wondering why Heather Locklear looks a little younger than what she is now, why does the title for this movie say 2023 in the description above?
@midnightrocker47 That is the upload date? Maybe they put a newer date so that people are more apt to watch. I'm not 100% sure but you're going to see this on many many movies and programs uploaded to UA-cam. You can tell when it's an older movie. Just go to the comments to see if people liked it or not. Actually, the best Lifetime movie channels usually turn comments off. I believe it's because the actual LMN searches for titles in comments, then forces UA-cam to remove the movie due to legal rights. So that's why they're often under pseudonyms and wrong years.
From what I can tell, its heading that way. She is not yet caught for the murders. Somehow, Laura seems to have snapped back into some form of reality.....oddly, NOT shown to us viewers......& realized she is not in fact married to Nick. But she has the chance now to get to know him & that is indeed what is doing, as the film ends.

I know what you mean! Even though I saw this film back when it first debuted...& again since.. it still is a strange film. Erotomania is a mental illness where people imagine they are in a romantic relationship with someone, when they are not. They may know the person, know of the person, or never actually met the person. Laura also is a psychopath who imagines she is cheating on her husband, when she has no husband. The only 'real' man in her life is Sam, the musician, & her dealings with him...on her side anyway.....are all superficial & sexual. As time goes on, Laura's mind begins to realize.....in a tiny part of her mind...that SOMETHING isn't right. But she is so ill, that reality doesn't sink in. Part of her mind knows, I believe, that none of it is real....but all the same it goes on until she kills the psychiatrist. It gets confusing there, but I think her mind somehow 'snapped' into reality of sorts.....& she decides to ACTUALLY try to become Nick's wife. Strange film indeed.
