Wouldn't it have been better to play the barn swallow before the wagtail so you could use it to draw a tray card after reset?

@@BigTonyPersonalI was thinking that too but then you have to skip the wagtail every time there’s a non-cup nest bird in the tray you want to draw.

@@leemarkowitz4709 That's fine though because if there is something so valuable you are willing to skip Wagtail you are still pretty happy. Plus it is basically always more likely there will be something in the tray you want after you reset it than after your opponent's turn
Though yes he clearly agrees with you given he said exactly that in the video

I think both ways have their benefits! Personally I prefer having them in the order I played, so that I can grab birds already in the tray and still use the wagtail power after. But I know others prefer the way you described. They're both viable options for sure

Bloody Rosella, and nice counter with his pink power birds! Games like these where resources are flying around really create a different type of progression, everyone getting points, even getting close to filling the board despite the expensive birds.

why did you not play goldeneye at the end of rd 3 that would have given you 4 eggs which you could have used to play at least king rail and crossbill so a +3 eggs since there'd still be one eggs on the goldeneye of course
