Looking forward to these hitting the shelves. Performs nicely! Great, well rounded review of the radio and comparison of AM/FM Rx/tx. Thanks for the review 👍
Great looking rig. Basic, but as you say if you want something for the car you don’t need a ton of buttons/features. Sounds like it will be very competitively priced too
I've just watched the videos you have posted of this radio review. Not a bad little radio...simple,no frills bit of kit ....i have been using AM recently and found it to be pretty good ........one question tho and not to do with the radio as such but everyone seems to be buying all this gear but certainly down here in Kent i hardly ever hear anyone, the band should be full of uk users.....just an observation. Thanks for the time and effort you've put in to the review Dave much appreciated.👍
Hello Roger, thanks for your kind comments, I thought there is a good spread of Breakers around Kent and London area, certainly the internet shows a good number.🙂
@@m0ogy Hi Dave ,yes there is probably a lot of listening going on lol...I know many breakers are on ssb but I'm on FM all day out on the farm recently getting copies down into Brighton from near Maidstone with a friend who goes mobile.....never seem to get any "on the side"..…..and am enjoying your content cheers 👍
Knights now have this in stock for £69.50 plus the post. (Just under £75 all in) The big decision is that do I buy this or spend £10 extra and get the Teddy 2 which has a few more features and the clincher- channel change buttons on the mic.... Choices. :)
That's good news and less than 70 quid!......wow, cheaper than 1981 prices and a genuinely superb radio. I don't own a Teddy II, so can't really comment. Maybe one for me to try soon.🙂
@@m0ogy I know that the Teddy 2 is another great radio, as a user local to me has one. The Uk4x4 centre has then for £85 delivered and I think I might pay the extra. For those mic channel change buttons if nothing else.
@@simonh870 TBH I'd go for this radio myself, the UP/DOWN mic buttons work if you use another mic .the build quality is up there (IMO) with radios triple the price
@@m0ogy The problem is that I don't have another mic with the buttons, and buying one seperate is £25. Had President included a button mic I would have bought it without hesitation.
Hello Dave, could you make a video of the Harrison II in operation with some QSOs, please? All that UA-cam has to find is unboxing and going through the functions in the menu. I'd like to see it in action.

Thanks for your kind comment , first impressions are very good and certainly think you won't go far wrong purchasing one cheers Dave 🙂
Lovely radio - The president is doing an amazing job. I'm a fan
Thanks Rob, nobody seems to be bringing the amount of decent radios as GPE currently, two new models in as many weeks 🙂

Ideal for mobile and the exact same colour display as my classic Saab dash, I think that's where it will end up after tests🙂
@@m0ogy I wish more people would use CB in their cars. It’s what they’re designed for and much more interesting than staying at home!
@@Blackadder1320 Yes, sadly the days of seeing every other truck with a twig are long gone, hopefully this will be put to good use mobile soon.
Sounding really good on AM and yes, all the modern radios are heavily restricted on FM.
Thanks for your comments Delboy🙂

I like the layout, very simular to the Uniden 510xl.
Cheers 🙂

Cheers Mate🙂
Wonder how it sounds on NRC microphone dave?
Hello Rob, it does show it using the Digi-Mike at the end of the video, but I'm sure you saw that, if you watched the video in full.
looks like another trip to knights coming up
